Mrs. Moses is a small woman with a big heart and enormous courage. The only survivor of a Cossack raid on her village, she takes with her a big cast-iron frying pan, so heavy that she can only sling it over her back. Yet this is no ordinary frying pan, it's The Family Frying Pan, blessed with a Russian soul.

What would have made The Family Frying Pan better?

I ordered the book hoping Humphry Bower was the reader...it didn't sound the way I expected and therefore didn't enjoy it from the beginning. I missed upon ordering that the female was also in it...the majority of it!

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

    A different female voice!

Would you be willing to try another one of Melissa Eccleston and Humphrey Bower ’s performances?

    No

    Any additional comments?

I may purchase a hard copy of this book to read as I truly love Bryce Courtenay's books.

Now, over twenty years later, her father has passed away and she's in New Bern, North Carolina cleaning out his house when she finds evidence to the contrary. Lisa is alive. Alive and living under a new identity. But why exactly was she on the run all those years ago, and what secrets are being kept now?

Loved this story! I listen to stories during my hour long commute to and from work every day. There were times when I arrived at work and I sat in the parking lot for a while just to hear what was going to happen next. I look forward to more stories from D.C. as well as from the same narrator. Thank you!

Charlie Castillo's secret unit has been disbanded - but that doesn't mean he's out of business. As experience has painfully shown him, there are many things the intelligence community can't do, won't do, or doesn't do well, and he has the men and assets to help set things straight.

Of the series, this is the worse one! It was not the same narrator as previous so the continuity wasn't there. Not pleased I wasted a credit in this book.
