I stumbled on to this series about a month ago and after the first two puchased the next three. I was quite surprised to find all the Jesus thumping in the middle of the third volumn in an adventure storey now about destroying Isrial. I came for the adventure and action and look else where for religeon when I choose. I have no prejudice against Christianity but am not fond of its incertion in action books at the level it was here.
Now only because they are in my library, I have started the fourth. Had I read three before ordering the rest of the series I would have stopped there.
Yes he has done well in all three. Turns out he could give sermons on Sunday if the book reading slows down.
Hero, action chick, globle politics. It has some of the ingrediants but with the religeon came wild and nearly crazy sciencelessness (that is a word cause you read it on the internet).
No thank you.
I am from the town where Mr. Box resides and revel in his local color. This storey is rich, diverse, and the characters are nicely developed. I found it difficult to turn off my MP3 player until the dust settled.
I liked the old rancher, of course, but little Annie and her mom became friends, and all the bad guys really got what they deserved.
To many were well done for me to pick a favorite. Just about every character mentioned was pretty thourghly developed and became recognizable.
No but I quickly took sides with the good guys and found myself anxious to follow their fates.
a must read if intertainment is one of your goals.
This guy merges intracacies with a skill that spelbinds. A pure delight from page one until the last explanation is in hand. Definately five star stuff.
