I love all the Milly Johnson books I have listened to. They seem to be a perfect blend of light, funny and cute without being over the top or over romanced. Love them!

"You can't touch me," I whisper. I'm lying, is what I don't tell him. He can touch me, is what I'll never tell him. But things happen when people touch me. Strange things. Bad things. No one knows why Juliette's touch is fatal, but The Reestablishment has plans for her. Plans to use her as a weapon. But Juliette has plans of her own.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

The story of this book kept me hooked, but the overuse of literary devices for every description drives me crazy. Every little detail becomes something personified or a metaphor or an overly dramatic hyperbole. This drives me crazy but I am/was interested in the story and ended up going back for the sequel...

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

I think the narrator probably did a good job but definitely adds a layer of drama to the already thick writing I spoke about above. Doesn't help my annoyance at that point but isn't really the narrator's fault.

He was a man who didn’t deserve a second chance... but he needed one. Emily and her husband, Sandy Portman, seemed to live a gracious if busy life in an old-world, Upper West Side apartment in the famous Dakota building. But one night on the way to meet Emily, Sandy dies in a tragic accident. The funeral isn't even over before Emily learns she is on the verge of being evicted from their apartment. But worse than the possibility of losing her home, Emily is stunned when she discovers that her marriage was made up of lies.

What disappointed you about Emily and Einstein?

I should have been more cautious when buying- the whole dog as a main character/narrator situation was not my thing.

That said, I thought the story was pretty decent within the confines. I knew from the start that I would not ever relisten.

Which character ??? as performed by Dan John Miller and Cassandra Campbell ??? was your favorite?

Emily as a character was great and I thought both narrators did well.

Poppy Wyatt has never felt luckier. She is about to marry her ideal man, Magnus Tavish, but in one afternoon her “happily ever after” begins to fall apart. Not only has she lost her engagement ring in a hotel fire drill but in the panic that follows, her phone is stolen. As she paces shakily around the lobby, she spots an abandoned phone in a trash can. Finders keepers! Now she can leave a number for the hotel to contact her when they find her ring. Perfect! Well, perfect except that the phone’s owner, businessman Sam Roxton, doesn’t agree.

What made the experience of listening to I've Got Your Number the most enjoyable?

I really enjoyed listening to the whole book. Every time I got back into my car I was excited to get back into what was happening in the story.

    Any additional comments?

While listening to all of Sophie Kinsella's main characters make their increasingly bad decisions- sometimes I feel like it was a bit of a reach. I wasn't caught up in that at all in this book. Really enjoyed.

What did you love best about Driving Mr. Dead?

I really like all of Molly Harper's books and this one is no exception. Certainly a lot shorter and quicker than her others but I enjoyed it all the same.

Have you listened to any of Amanda Ronconi???s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Amanda Ronconi seems to be the perfect narrator for the Molly Harper books. Does not disappoint at all.

Fans of New York Times best seller The Nanny Diaries will rejoice in this wickedly hilarious novel, which acclaimed author Katharine Weber says is "much funnier and darker". Optioned for a major motion picture starring Catherine Zeta-Jones, The Ivy Chronicles skewers the twisted priorities of America's well-heeled elite.

What did you love best about The Ivy Chronicles?

Cute story- perfect for an audiobook for me.

Did Julia Gibson do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

I did think the narrator did a good job. My only real critique may have been in the editing? Quite often throughout this book I'd hear the narrator swallow, pages turn etc. I've never heard this on any other book I've listened to and I am a frequent listener. Definitely distracting and unappealing.
