When Nita Morales hires Elvis Cole to find her missing adult daughter, she isn’t afraid, even though she’s gotten a phone call asking for ransom. She knows it’s a fake, that her daughter is off with the guy Nita will call only “that boy,” and that they need money: "Even smart girls do stupid things when they think a boy loves them." But she is wrong....

What did you love best about Taken?

    Good story.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Joe Pike - no nonsense tough partner.

What does Luke Daniels bring to the story that you wouldn???t experience if you just read the book?

He brings out the characters traits really well.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It was hard to put down. You were kept on the edge of your seat hoping the kids would be rescued safely.

An ordinary parking lot in southern California. Christine Scavello and her six-year-old son are accosted by a strange old woman. "I know who you are," the woman snaps at the boy. "I know what you are." A scream, a threat - and then a grotesque act of violence. Suddenly Christine's pride and joy, her only son, is targeted by a group of religious fanatics. They've branded him the Antichrist. They want to kill him. And they are everywhere.

Where does The Servants of Twilight rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It was not one of the best and I like Dean Koontz books a lot.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Servants of Twilight?

What all Charley had to go through to protect Joey and his mother. He lost a lot from associates to houses.

What didn’t you like about Angela Dawe’s performance?

Her cadence was annoying. When she went into character voices she was much more natural. I had to force myself to listen.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

No I had a feeling it would turn out the way it did.

    Any additional comments?

Looking forward to the next installment of Odd Thomas.

Stephen King's first full-length solo novel since Dreamcatcher, the long-awaited From a Buick 8 is "nearly flawless and one terrific entertainment," says Publishers Weekly. A strange car acts as a conduit between our world and some other...and the boogeyman of this creepy story is our collective fascination with deadly things.

Excellent story. If I put down a book to go to work and then wonder what the characters are doing all day I know it is a good read.
    Very entertaining!
