Michelle is the focus
read very well, felt as if Michelle was reading it
Being a true story of unbelievable torture for so many years, leaves one speechless. Admire Michelle for being able to continue under such conditions
I have watched the Wizard of Oz on tv every year for many many years and had never read the book, so I was so suprised to find the movie is very different from the book. I would recommend it to any one who is a fan of the Wizard of Oz or the Wicked series. The reading was done very well and easy to listen to.
I had read the first part of this book and found it very good reading, but found John Hurt's
reading of it extremely good listening and was disappointed for a few minutes when Stephen King began reading( but of course really enjoyed his
reading) was glad to hear John Hurt read the final part. The music is very short pieces at the end of some chapters and found it to add to the book.
I could not have picked a better first audio book to listen to. The talent of a great author with the reading talant of John Slattery, I dreaded the book to come to an end. I will look for more books read by Mr. Slattery and more written by Stephen King.
