"Loved it!"
This isn't your typical apocalyptic story. It starts out great but should have spent more time on the impact itself. It reads like 2 separate books and goes on and on. I did enjoy it but found the last 1/4 was a bit much. The story line was fine and "believable" for what happened. Regardless of all that, I'd buy it again in a minute!
"Waste of a credit from one of my favorite authors"
This was a waste of a credit. I have read all of his books and Coonts is one of my very favorite authors. I think this is the worst book he has done. The story was not that interesting and the narration was irritating. If you like Coonts, you will be disappointed with this book!
"Excellent-Interesting"
I never heard of this author but am really glad I downloaded it. The only way I can think to describe it is; a light but compelling mystery. It isn't a page turner, but I couldn't put down.It is Defiantly worth using credit!
"Not a thriller!"
The story line had great potential. However, I feel it was written for born again Christians. If I wanted to sit through over 10 hours of preaching, I'd have bought something else!.
"Typical mystery"
This written like the author just graduated from school. It has all the parts to tie the story together. Being a South Floridan, I found the total lack of hurricane knowledge very frustrating. Category 5 storms are NOT !20 mph. Other parts were also poorly researched, Also, lots of cliches; THE narration was very well done & saved the book fo me..
"Another Vince Flynn wtnner"
I guess I'm in the minority here. This is an excellent book. Altougth we're all used to George Guildal, I think Nick Sullivan did a good job.If you are a Vince Flynn Enthusiast you will love this one.
"Interesting and fun"
This is a fun read. At the same time it is a good mystery with a great story line with some interesting twists. I was hesitant but highly recommend spending a credit on it.
"An easy to read book for Clancy"
Lou Diamond Phillips is getting better with each book he nararates. He does an excellent job with this one. It must have been quite difficult, especially with all the Chinese names and voices. He did it very well. The story was very believable and scary, because I think what Clancy portrays, is Very close to how this scenario would actually play out. It is not as complicated with multiple stories as most Clancy novels. If you like espionage and clancy novels, you will love this one.
"AWESOME-Wonderful"
I've read every book in this series and have loved every one of them. This is the only book in the series that really needs preparation before tackling it. All the books in the series stand by themselves and this on will as well. However to to make complete sense, you really need to have read the entire series. It brings all the major/minor players and what has gone on in their lives that has brought them to this point. Ig Audible had a 10 point scale, this would be the one that rates it. DON;T MISS IT!
"Boring!"
Too much detail and a Very Predicable story. This is the kind of writing that started people staying away from Patterson. Don'y easte a credit.
"Not what I expected."
I think I've read all of Clive Cussler's books and always enjoy them. Scott Brick is one of my favorite narrators, and doesn't disappoint here. The publisher's description doesn't do the book justice. I was expecting a novel about a submarine and new or future technology. Instead, it is another Dirk Pit "Super Hero" action book.. That would be fine with me if that is what I was expecting. It is non stop action and what One would expect for a Dirk Pit story. It just is not what I expected from the description.
