The story gives you just enough to keep you very interested without giving too much away and becoming predictable. The characters are believable and desirable. There is romance, mystery, humor and even tragedy. I found I cared about what happened to these people. I would have liked the narrator to do more with the voices but the story overcame her lack of performance. Overall very enjoyable.
This mystery takes a while to develop but comes together in the end. Over all there is very little romance in the story. Strong gay/lesbian subplot that the reader should know about before purchasing the audiobook. The narrater has an annoying voice for some characters but does very well with others. Overall just a fair experience.
The characters were well developed, the story unique and entertaining. You are pulled into the story and begin to care about what happens. Fun and easy read.
This was a fun story with good characters. Unfortunately the author had a poor use of the English language and resorted to curse words repeatedly.
The language was foul, the story tried to be PC with little or no mention of God. Shallow plot and characters popping into the story for no purpose. Poor excuse for a Christmas story.
historical fiction at it's best, I loved the characters and the narrator made the story come alive. worth listening to twice!
