Stephen King outdid himself in this one! LOVED this book! The way he tied in Jake's death in preparation of the next book was genius!
I usually stick to King and Koontz, but have read/heard all of them. I'm desprately looking for a new author/series to keep my attention and Steelheart was pretty good. I'd definately listen to a sequel. The ending was well thought out for Steelheart's weakness.
Entertaining though not a book I'd listen to more than once.
While I like more paranormal stories, this was a fun book to pass the time in traffic. Neat concepts in the story, but a bit unbelievable at times. That's why they call it fiction though...
LOVED this story! What a great addition to the saga. Fills in some of Roland's back story and gives you a tale inside a tale.
The end of Blane was a great twist! Eddie is actually good for something... Roland, as always, keeps the story enjoyable.
I listented to this because it was a segway to get to the next stories.
I really didn't like the narrator and it's a bummer knowing he's the one that did some of the later books.
I'd recommend this whole series. It's hard to find these epic tales!
Frank Muller really portrays Roland well.
