If you could sum up Notorious Nineteen in three words, what would they be?

Funny, intriguing, & scintillating

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

Janet is back to good writing!! Great story line, a little too much blowing up of things, but that's to be expected when Stephanie is around. Laid out the plot good, and followed through.

Which scene was your favorite?

I loved the scene when Ranger rescues Stephanie at the end. It was funny and touching all at the same time.

Who was the most memorable character of Notorious Nineteen and why?

I think Ranger is getting a bit more human.

Great listen. Kept me very entertained;)

He's a very talented performer. He does a great job bringing in the other characters without getting to crazy or childish with the voices. He really brings emotions to the characters!!

Any additional comments?

I enjoyed reading this story. I would like to have had a bit more realistic emotions from Grace and Rio, however, I still loved it!!
There were several scenes that evoked such tenderness and love between the characters. I enjoyed hearing Rio's tenderness during their first time together.

I have read this book 2 times now, and listened once. Maya Banks is such a talented Story writer. She hooks you in with her details, without adding too many. She adds the emoptional aspect that a lot of authors fall short of.

What did you like best about Shades of Gray? What did you like least?

It hooked me from the beginning. I cried when the events happened to PJ. I felt her anger and frustration.
I did not like the new narrator. His character voices were not as good as Harry Berkley's were. It was very distracting at times.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Shades of Gray?

When PJ was raped. It was so horrific and demeaning. Maya Banks really did an eloquent job with this particular scene. I literally had tears streaming down my face and I had to stop listening for a bit to compose myself.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Adam Paul?

ANYONE!!! I really hope that Harry Berkley comes back for the rest of KGI's stories.

Could you see Shades of Gray being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

I would love to see this entire series as part of a TV series or a movie!!

I'd say they are close to the Catherine Coulter FBI series!

What does Harry Berkeley bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

He ads an extra personal touch. The way he brings the characters to life and allows the characters to be more real and feeling!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I've read this book before, however, when I listened to the part when Rachael was rescued, I literally cried. Harry Berkeley is fantastic at brining the emotions to the surface.
