"THE PLAYER GOT PLAYED"
Ok, this book, well first of all, coming from a male perspective in a romance was different. However, the characters seemed to be predictable. Secondly, I believe in love at first sight, but you can see the set up. What I liked was the humor between the characters.
What I liked least about the book it lacked imagination on the sexual scene. I know that writers like to use same ole words, but can I missed the fore play. I needed more description.
No this is the first time. I would like to hear another one
I thought August performance was interesting. AND his way he read the African American character was a bit steretypical and ghetto. But Funny! I thought it was fun to hear a man read the sex scenes. I was not use to that. Made the scene seem sorta exciting.
Better foreplay, longer romance, and more conflict between characters. He did not have to work for the booty. She did not have to work hard to get her man. EASYYYYYYYYYY! WAY TO EASYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!
"There are such things as a real Prince Charming"
Well I did not read the print version, but I believe it is just as good. The story had a steady flow and the characters were real.
The proposal...I dont want to reveal the details but WOW, it had me going.
Well, all of them. it was done very well.
Yes I laughed a lot, I had alot of emotions where each character was concern
"Sexy and Strong"
yes, I love Brenda Jackson's work. I love the charcters and how the sex scene were hot! When I listened to this book, I just could not put it down until it was completed.
Well I am bit bias but I would compare this book to Rochelle Alers "Because of you" both the books kept the reader wanting more. The main characters in each book were strong, self assured and HOT! They complimented each of the female characters and it was not at all "sappy"
I like Madison Vaughn's performance. I would love sometimes if they would she could read with another male. Like in the Session by M. Rose and narrated by Natalie Ross, Phil Gigante. I would like to see audibles start incoporating this style. It really brings the reader in. But all in all Madison V does a great JOB!
Yes it was. I love Brenda Jackson. I would like to see more of her books and other African American romance/erotic author works on audibles. It really draws you in especially after reading the book first.
"Object of his Protection"
What I loved about this book, was that Dre was smooth and very attactive in his approach. Charlene being inexperience made it easy for her to discovery of new love and feelings exciting.
I love DRE
Smooth, Likeable, and clear
The book kept you wanting to know why, what, and how. The book involved you into the mystery.
