Shelly Laurenston turns up the heat with two sizzling novellas. Christmas Pride: How come all the good-looking ones are insane? That's what runs through NYPD cop Desiree "Dez" MacDermot's mind the minute she hooks up again with her childhood buddy, Mace Llewellyn. Shaw's Tail: Brendon Shaw, hotel owner and lion shifter, has seen better days. He's been beaten, had a gun to the back of his head, and had to be rescued by a Pack of shape-shifting wolves.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

have a real story in there some where.

Would you ever listen to anything by Shelly Laurenston again?

I might try her, if there is a real story in there. sex is good. but please, this is audio and if you don't know it is x rated and someone comes up.... very upsetting.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from The Mane Event?

I think in this book, it just needs to be on the book write up that it is not some younger people. or to wear ear phones.

    Any additional comments?

will try the book again after the grandkids leave for the school year
