New York Times best-selling author Kevin Hearne returns with the finale to his wildly popular action-adventure series, The Iron Druid Chronicles. Two-thousand-year-old Druid Atticus O'Sullivan travels to Asgard and faces off against the Norse gods to try to prevent Ragnarok in the final battle for the fate of mankind.

It seems like Kevin Hearne got tired of this series and just wrote something to get it done. The only real highlights were Owen Oberon and slowmo. Granueille was a bit of a holier than thou lover with very little understanding or compassion. She really bothered me in this story. The gods too who cause problems and chaos for humanity and give Atticus treaties at the end suddenly negate them and everyone blames Atticus and nobody takes any responsibility for their own actions. It was an annoying end to a really otherwise great series.

Luke Daniels did a good job with some voices and others not good at all. I couldn’t tell the difference between the male and female narrators.

Sigh. I’m so bummed at this book after waiting so long for it

Twenty-three-year-old rising theater star Jill McCormick has built a life out of pretending. Cast in her first Broadway show, she desperately needs to keep her façade intact, but that's before she comes face to face with her devastating new boss....

Normally Lauren Blakely is an automatic purchase and I was happy this one was included in the romance package. I thought I had listened to narration by Emily Durante before but if so I don’t recall how terrible she was but she ruined this story for me. She over acted and made the story roll your eyes corny and annoying. Her inflections and high pitched voice for the female characters were terrible and her horrible male personas were worse. If I had purchased this. Would have asked for my money back. Too bad she was so terrible because Todd haberkorn was pretty good.

I also thought the writing in this one was just so cliche compared to other Lauren Blakely stories. It was a disappointment

At the end of Submit, Arianna Harlow had enough pride in herself to walk away from Rafe Palazzo, who had started their relationship using blackmail. Though she'd fallen in love with him, she was strong enough to say goodbye. We saw the softer side of Rafe, especially toward the end, but it was too late…Or was it? Seduced begins almost two years after Ari starts her new life. She is teaching at a community college, and when she asks the class whether they have any questions for her, Rafe is there and has only one: Will you go on a date with me?

This series has gone from merely ok to terrible. The drama is contrived and the “love” is just poorly written sex scenes. Other than sex and arguments I have no idea what these couple spend their time doing. There is nothing that makes you feel anything for these couples except irritation.

The sex scenes are written using the least sexy words and descriptions. Who thinks this is sexy “I can’t wait to taste your strong thick manhood!” Ugh!! All the swollen parts of her body and his I was concerned they should be seen by a doctor.

In fact the entire story is the most trite and ridiculous writing I have had the misfortune of listening to in a very long time.

If this series hadn’t been part of the romance package I would ask for my money back. Don’t waste your time or brain cells.

I really loved the marked men series and re listen to them often. The point series was mostly good too with a few exceptions. This story crosses boundaries with both of those series which was interesting. The storyline here was promising but insta Love isn’t my favorite and this was that in spades. In addition the dialogue was so over the top dramatic it made the narration sound like overactors in a big way. The rest were things that are more preference than criticisms so I’ll keep those to myself other than to say I don’t understand how people think some of these things are sexy but to each their own. Overall it was ok but I wouldn’t listen to it again

Being the younger sister of a Wind Dragons MC member isn't as great as you'd think it would be. I can't escape the details of my brother's exploits. No one tells me anything. Men who know who I am tend to stay away from me. And worst of all: The members of the MC are off-limits. When Arrow catches my eye, I make it my mission to make him happy again. When I fall head over heels in love with him, I just hope he will be there to catch me. And that my brother doesn't kill him....

What's the Devil to do when his fire no longer burns away his sins and Fate is screwing with his...well, fate? Easy - lie, cheat, steal, and dictate my questionably accurate autobiography-slash-romance-novel to my unwilling and outstandingly rude Vampyre niece. Welcome to my Hell. A mysterious darkness is gunning for me and this time it might prevail. Traveling to Earth to promote my best-selling romance novel at an alarming book convention where I must protect my privates from the rabid lady readers is enough to frighten even the Devil.

I’ve listened to the whole series laughing out loud the whole way. That is up to this one. Maybe it was the narration and delivery or the actual storyline but it was lacking in humor and in steaminess. It also ends on sort of a cliffhanger or more like incomplete story line.

Either way I wasn’t thrilled with this one

The plot of this story has some minor uniqueness while following a very similar plot line. Same ole same ole. If you enjoyed the other books and don’t care if the story is basically the same plot with small differences then you will like this one too. If you’re like me and are getting annoyed with the book deja vue
Then just re listen to one of the other books again and change the names in your head and there you go

I was hoping this time the narration wouldn’t be a clone of the previous books in this series as well as the other series associated with this one. Hoping a change in narration would improve the story line. I was disappointed

Jill Redfield has the ability to do so much more but instead she basically duplicates her performance from all the others in this story arch. Her main male character are interchangeable with the main male character in every other book. The same growling annoying orders in almost identical plots. It’s so tiresome at this point. I wonder if her jaws get tired from all the teeth clenching she does while growling out these male characters.

The females are the same too. Same “snarky” banter that suddenly is so breathy and overcome with passion. Every lead female delivery is with a deadpan sarcastic tone that sounds like every other lead female. Weirdly when they become secondary characters they develop more unique voices.

Basically this book was phoned in. I have to wonder why it takes so long to produce them they are just so repetitive

Don’t waste your credit if you’re hoping for something new

Successful fashion blogger McKenna Bell has spent far too long protecting herself after the way her ex-fiancé left her at the altar for a college chick he met the night of his bachelor party. Loving again, trusting again, well, that's just not in the cards. Especially now that her ex is back in town with his new woman, demanding custody of McKenna's favorite creature in the whole world - her dog. McKenna's had enough of him, and she decides to even the score by finding her own hot young thing - a Trophy Husband.

I normally love this author and the performers she has do her stories. This book fell short for me on all fronts. First the story. It was tedious listening to the main character constantly go thru her dream life moment by moment. McKenna has endless rambling thoughts including her sexual fantasy life. It was irritating. The story of I need a trophy husband to show her former fiancé was stupid. Then she meets a guy she really likes and instead of being in an honest relationship she contrives some ridiculous scenario to date him. Why would her friends and sister want her to forego a guy who is great in order to pursue the stupid trophy husband. Irritating

The performance. I don't think I've heard this woman before and I would avoid her. Her voice has minimal range. Most people sound exactly the same. She gets boring quickly. Maybe if a good performer gave this one a shot it wouldn't be so dull but I doubt it
