    I have this on my library for some time now and i just finished re-reading it. Claire and Roan are true characters brought to life by Deborah Smith. There were certain circumstances to the story which i can relate to. Life of people i know, not the same but the upheavals of family and townspeople drama.

    Their childhood connection brought them back together despite the long and arduous years apart. Roan recreated his own family when he took a young boy into his care and brought him as his son, only...... And Claire, she stayed true to her heart. The heartbreak, the inspiration, and hope of life together with Roan was almost a never.

    It's a long enjoyable and at the same time a frustrating listen because when it was over, I was lost and looking for more of their story. I enjoyed listening to the narrator too. I'm actually trying to get all Deborah Smith's audiobooks slowly.

    Jodi Thomas weaves a very fine story in Whispering Mountain Novels. Each book tells the story of each MacMurray. I never regretted starting with Taegan's book, then Sage and ended with Tobin which is the 2nd of the series.

    I love the author for making each story a stand alone despite the connection of each characters. Im having difficulty getting over the series and im looking forward for the missing books from audible.

    As for the narrator, Linda Stephens kind of grew on me and cant have any other to narrate the missing books.

    Travis and Abby...What a joy. From the perspective of Travis, I rate Book 2 better than the first book of the series. I hardly notice the genre.

    Jaime Mcguire showed Travis a man capable of accepting tears, fear and heartbreak without sounding cheesy. Dan Bittner was brilliant in his narration.

    Lastly, I enjoyed the epilogue. Good job to both author and narrator.

    The title pretty sums it up for me. Beautiful story of a toughie Travis goes sappy over Abby. Disaster in parts when Abby took care of her father's business, i felt the author partly ran away from a solid beginning but recovered well to deliver a very good ending. And as a sucker for HEA, I even forgot this book neither falls under young adult nor chick flick. But who cares, I enjoyed listening till the end. It's a beautiful disaster indeed.

    Wow! what an engrossing listen.

    The time traveling from present to WW1 was the most confusing and most engrossing listen. I completely lost myself listening to this story. Im heartsick with longing for the story to be longer for Kate and Julian.

    I had serious doubt about the story but i'm glad i took the chance on this book.

    The bond that ties the main characters - Blake, Beckett and Cole, given their extreme life choices makes me wish for a brother like them. Throw in the loyal Mouse, whose passion for knitting is just the thing of contradictions. There were moments where i cant help guffawing on the author"s personification of Mouse, Beckett, Eve, Kyle and Livia's Dad. Some dialogues are just fun to listen to despite Beckets' needs-to-wash language.

    The narrator tried her best which was okay with me, but the edition was disaster. I believe whoever did the edition slept throughout the process.

    Nevertheless, i dont regret downloading this book. Just for the story alone - Its between 4 to 5 stars.

    What made Tristan story more engrossing is Isobel and her outrageous younger brothers. Being the only female in the family to care for all types of male personalities was tiresome and rewarding at the same time.

    I love the fact that Miss Quinn let Isobel's brothers run amok with Tristan, and not be intimidated by the Devil MacGregor.

    Tristan's colorful love life ends with a worthy end.

    My goodness, if there is a portal opening to this particular MacGregor era, id be the first to sign in, Paula Quinn please don't fail to announce it. This series got me tied so good and robbed from my routine.

    A Big 5 to both the author and the narrator. Even after I finished listening, the burr and the brawny highlanders kept ringing and filling my head. I even caught myself repeating the dialogues. Ravished indeed.

    Verra verra much a credit worthy listen.

    I'm having difficulty associating the title of the book to the story. The heroine was tempted to end her feminist activism maybe or Temptation on the hero for having a recalcitrant housekeeper he ended up having a passionate encounter?

    Either way, since I'm a sucker for anything from Scotland and Lairds, plaid, highlands and all that, I enjoyed the whole adventure of Temperance and James. Add Carrington MacDuffie into the mix, the predictable parts of the story came out nicely. Credit worthy temptation
