Shocking, emotional, triumphant
When the coauthors fell in love with Javon
The passion and determination she had for bringing this young man home!
Most definitely! It has all the attributes of a story that keeps you interested from the beginning. Guessing where the plot is going, amused, in tune with the characters, etc.
A great mix of the supernatural with reality
Definitely Jane because she was put in this predicament that she in no way caused but chose to make the best of it and kept me chuckling all the while!
Depressing, desperate, hopeless
Not for me
This book just left me disturbed. The fact that someone could imagine a world in this horrible state of humankind put me in mind of The Holocaust.
This book was my #1 listen so far
I liked EVERYTHING about this story! I didn't want to leave these characters. I wanted to hear more about how the rest of their lives played out.
I haven't listened to any of Ms. Jackson's performances before but after having listened to this one I would love to listen to all she has performed!
I found Big the most memorable character. The depth of her character was amazing.
I listen to my books primarily on my drive into work. I had a hard time leaving this story each time I arrived at my destination.
