Lisey Debusher Landon lost her husband, Scott, two years ago, after a 25-year marriage of the most profound and sometimes frightening intimacy. Scott was an award-winning, best-selling novelist, and a very complicated man. Early in their relationship, before they married, Lisey had to learn from him about books and blood and "bools". Later, she understood that there was a place Scott went, a place that both terrified and healed him, could eat him alive, or give him the ideas he needed in order to live.

    Overall

I've been slightly disappointed with Stephen King's last few books. They have fallen short in terms of depth and character development. However, I took a chance with Lisey's story and I'm so glad that I did. In my opinion, this is Stephen King's best work since "The Stand". The characters are richly portrayed, the story keep me up several long suspenseful nights. This novel stands alone even without ST special brand of horror and suspense. In short, he "had me at hello".

Twenty-five forensic mysteries are solved by CSI Wes Burton and his cast of quirky but lovable characters. Crime scenes include everything from exploding flour in a restaurant kitchen, to a boy who lies about eating a piece of cake, to a man who dies accidentally while tanning himself. Burton and his coworkers use science to prove that strangulation with a towel leaves unique imprints, that antique flowers are deadly, and that insects can tell a good story.

Just a heads up. This audiobook is made for children not adults.

It has been created by native Spanish speakers from Latin America to make sure you learn to speak Spanish just like a native. All speakers are college-educated speakers from Latin America to make sure you develop an authentic accent. This is a fun method of learning Spanish - no tedious memory drills. You learn practical spoken Spanish that you can use in everyday situations. Level 1 consists of Lessons 1 to 30.

    "Good supplimental program"
    Overall

If you are trying to learn Latin American Spanish, I would recommend this program. However, unless you are using audible "credits" I would not pay the outrageous asking price. Why so expensive???

You will also need another system to fill in the gaps that this program lacks.

For longtime Stephen King fans, the highlight of this volume will be The Little Sisters of Eluria, which is something of a prequel to the Dark Tower series. For "Constant Readers" and neophytes alike, all of the dark tales herein are intense, eerie, and instantly compelling. King "develops characters and atmosphere more fully in the span of 50 pages than many authors can in a full novel," says Amazon.com.

Michael Kannard says: "3 Awesome Stories"
    "Skip this one"
    Overall

I love Stephen King, but this is not his best. Two of the stories are mildly interesting, the others are totally forgetable. Go with "Lisey's Story" instead.
