    Story

My first thought when I finished listening to this book was how I wished it existed when I was pregnant and not feeling hot at all... It is an ode to love, sex, pregnancy and how the process can bring a couple closer than ever. So much has been said about the Fifty Shades series being mommy porn (which I listened to and loved) but I believe this is the real deal.

Ms. Ione has written another amazing addition to the Lords of Deliverance series. I am amazed as how she has been able to make each book even better than the previous. This is paranormal romance at its finest. The world she created is very rich, the characters complex and the storyline is completely unpredictable and very very interesting. There are so many reasons why I loved this book. First, For most of the story the heroine is pregnant and Ms. Ione has created such a sensual bad ass pregnant lady and the love making scenes are so hot!! This book is a must listen for any pregnant or new mother who needs to feel sexy and empowered once again.

I never knew what to expect! Romance stories tend to be very predictable but definitely not this one. I also love the way the author can write a dark story but in a way that it works and is not disgusting. I could visualize a movie while listening to this. At the end of the book you get a preview of the next book Rogue Rider which is Pestilence (Resive) story and OMG it sounds just as amazing as all the other books in this series. I did some research and found that Rogue Rider should be out by November. So it's a long painful wait to see how the series comes to an end. I sooo recommend this book!

Narration: I am definitely going through some audiobook Karma. This is the second series I've been listening to and loving the narration and all of the sudden they change the narrator to Erin Bennett. I do not like the narrator at all. I have Erin Bennett in my narrators to avoid list but to my luck the books by my favorite authors keep being narrated by her. It's not that she's unbearable it's just that all the characters sound the same and you have to pay extra attention to see who's talking. And at times she sounds monotonous. Oh well, but the story is so good, steamy, interesting and unpredictable that you should listen to it even with the less than desirable narrator.

Another fun easy going romance by Jill Shalvis. A great beach listen. I really liked Dell and Jade's story. Playful banter and hot romance with a perfect happily ever after. As for the narration Karen White did significantly better with this book than with the first of the series. Very distinct characters and the added emotions of a good narration. All in all it was time and money well spent so I recommend it.

A light contemporary romance that is quite hot. I enjoyed the book although maybe my expectations were too high because I was expecting something like the Lucky Harbor series. It is not as good as that series but still very funny, cute and sexy. It's a good beach listen.

Narrator: I have to give it to Karen White. She quaked, barked and meowed like the real animals... And many times. She is a good narrator but many times I felt like she was too slow. This book should have lasted at least one hour less that it did. I actually speed up
The narration to 1.25 at times because it dragged.

Just like every other historical romance that Maya Banks writes, I loooved it! I really liked the heroine of this story. She was kidnapped, repeatedly raped, her faced marked and mistreated for a year. Her body was broken but not her spirit. She found a way to be rescued and she even ended up saving the hero's life. Something I really like about this series is that the heroines all have some disability or imperfection and the stories talk about true beauty and love. The story is intense, sad, interesting, sexy and has the perfect ending!

Narration: Kirsten Potter is one of my favorite narrators. She can set fire to your ears when she narrates a love scene. She did an amazing job on this story as always.

A bit heavy on the Visit Kentucky propaganda but its hilarious so it didn't bother me. As for the narration: Amanda Ronconi was born to narrate Molly Harper's book. She gets the sense of humor and cannot do a better job.

Jace Crestwell, Ash McIntyre, and Gabe Hamilton have been best friends and successful business partners for years. They’re powerful, they’re imposing, they’re irresistibly sexy, and Jace and Ash share everything - including their women. Maya Banks is a multiple personality writer. She writes the most heart melting romantic stories like her Highlander series and her Harlequin books or kinky smut that can make a pornstar blush. I absolutely love her romantic stories but I find her kinky stories are too much for me. In Fever somehow she tried to mix those two personalities into one but it didn't convince me. Fever is a romantic melodrama with a kinky smut undertone.

Fever was better than Rush but still it was just meh for me. Too many contradictions. Jace is a dominant self made billionaire, yet he did not tell Ash he didn't want him in bed with him and Bethany. Bethany has been homeless in New York City for years and yet she is a doormat and a complete submissive? You don't survive the streets of NYC if you are a naive trusting wimp. She used drugs and sex as coping mechanisms and yet she was shy at times with Jace and had to get drunk to really loose her inhibitions? Jace was very lovey dovey at times and all of a sudden switched to: I'm the master and I want to put a collar on you and spank you with a wood paddle. Come on! This book needed some good editing.

Narration: to be fair I have to say that I do not like male narrators. And I specially dislike Adam Paul on this series. I imagine Jace as intense but the narrator makes him sound as a complete demanding jerk. And he makes Bethany sound as a lifeless wimp. I just can't feel the chemistry or the love through the narration and the sex scenes sound too perverted.

It took me two weeks to finish this audiobook and I had to force myself to finish it. If you like hot and dirty sex scenes and don't really care for a plot line that makes sense then this book is for you. It wasn't for me and I'm not sure if ill endure a third book...

Contemporary romance fans hold a special place in their hearts for New York Times bestselling author Robyn Carr’s Virgin River novels—set in a quiet town nestled deep in California Redwood territory. The 17th entry in the series, Hidden Summit stars Leslie Petruso and Conner Danson, two people burned by love and ready to give up on the whole proposition. But the chemistry between them is impossible to deny, and if everyone in town can see it, why can’t they?

    Story

The Virgin River series is just so good. Every story has romance, suspense and a beautiful Happily Ever After. The main couple Connor and Leslie were just perfect for each other and they are both good people so I was definitely rooting for them. And then again this series has very likable recurrent characters specially Jack and Preacher. I've fallen in love with the whole town on Virgin River and I'm sad to know that it will soon come to an end.

Narration: it's Therese Plummer. By now the name speaks for itself. She is just one of the best narrators. There's no way she can possibly get less than four stars for her narration. She has an uncanny ability to portray each character so distinctively. This story has several men, women and even children as characters and you could differentiate them all.

I definitely recommend the Virgin River series and ANY book narrated by Therese Plummer. Very credit worthy.

This book is just as good as the previous ones. The ending was very good and complete as it gives you a glimpse of how each brother and their families are doing. Hart was completely redeemed in this book. He changed a lot from how he was portrayed throughout the series. Eleanor was his perfect match in every sense. The bit of BDSM between Hart and Eleanor towards the end of the book was kind of weird but I guess it was appropriate to explain his "dark" side. It's nothing too descriptive though.

Narration: well by now Ms. Angela Dawe has improved her Scottish accent a bit and her narration has only gotten better. I highly recommend this book and I'm sad the series has ended.

Jennifer Ashley has written such an amazing series. Each book has been very different but all of them very well written. The first book in the series The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie was one of the best books I've ever read in my life and made me fall in love with Ian. I was sure no other book could come close to that one. The second book was just ok. But then I listened to this one and I fell in love all over again. This time with Cameron. I had an impression he was a selfish ass who did not care for his son and only lived for his carnal pleasures. Well I was wrong. Very very wrong. Cameron didn't really have that many sins. He was just a very hurt, betrayed and traumatized man. And I love his journey and his change. Ainsley put the pieces of his heart back together little by little. And she was such a good woman. Just an honest, lovable, good woman.

I loved every character on this story. I loved how romantic and sizzling hot the main relationship was. I loved how the other couples were incorporated into the story and to know how they are doing. I loved how the next story was introduced (Hart and Eleanor). I loved the freaking horse Jasmine. I loved Cam's son Daniel. I even loved Angelo the gypsie. Yeah, I pretty much loved every second of this story.

Narration: Angela Dawe did a great job with the story. I gave up trying to hear a british or Scottish accent but other than that the narration was passionate, intense and nearly perfect. Worth a credit? Abso-freaking-lutly!!!

    Story

When Isabella and Mac were introduced in The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie, I was dying to read their story, but it didn't turn out to be as great as I was expecting. It just didn't have that heart melting romance nor sizzling love scenes like the first book.

This is a story about forgiveness, about fighting for a marriage that was once great but got lost on the way. I found this book to be predictable with no significant character development. All the characters seemed the same on the first page as they were on the last, except with fewer misunderstandings between them.

I felt this story was long. I didn't understand the drama and hesitation from Isabella. She loved her husband and he clearly showed her pretty quickly that he had changed but yet she kept going hot and cold. And the whole imposter thing was strange and unclear.

This is a good story and the last chapter and the epilogue were amazing! I guess that the first book was so incredibly good that my expectations were too high. I'm looking forward to listening to book three though.

Narration: Good narration by Angela Dawe but she still cannot do any accent other that American. Her British accent is bad and her Scottish accent is worse. Other than that she does great male voices and adds passion and feelings to each character.

.."Is this what love feels like?" He whispered to her. "I don't like it, my Beth. It hurts too much"

**swoon** I'm in love with Ian Mackenzie...I resisted getting this book because I had my reservations about a hero with high functioning Autism. It had such high ratings that I decided to try it. And I loved. I loved it to pieces!!! I don't like to give spoilers so I'll just say that by the end of this book I was in love with the hero, I really liked the heroine and I was very intrigued to know more about the other Mackenzie brothers. And it is HOT! When you can't communicate well with words, you let your body do the talking. And Ian was a master at that **sigh** This is one of those series that I don't just read, I devour and obsess about.

Narration: I've listened to several other books narrated by Angela Dawe and she is a good narrator. The way she portrayed Ian was amazing. I really liked the voice she gave to him. But she does sound very American and there is not one American character on that book. She tried the Scottish accent and failed miserably. The story was so good that I really didn't mind the accent.

This book is a must listen. It is worth every penny and every second you spend on it. <3
