I cannot beleive I have wasted so much time listening to this drivel. What a load of incomprehensible rambling, it just made no sense to me at all it was so incredibly far fetched. After reading previous reviews I must say I was left utterly underwhelmed.
Really enjoyed this book. A great listen and one of the best books I've had for a while. Well written and well narrated and does not overdo it and go on too long.
I loved this book, I just did not want it to end. The story really hooked me and after some of the dross I have listened to recently (REAMDE springs to mind) this restored my faith in books.
What a great book with a great array of well described characters, I did not want this book to end. Dickens was truly a master of his craft,
Great listen, really enjoyed the book, not sure how well it will date though as there are some current topics which form the basis of the book.
This book reminded me why I try not to download books by female authors. Having just listened to David Copperfield by Dickens and Paranoia by Joseph Finder this book was a major let down. The narrators attempt at an Irish accent made me cringe.
This book started off ok but degenerated into meaningless drivel after the first 5 hours. Got really fed up with it and when I finally got through it wondered quite what the point had been.
What an awful book, this was like listening to something a primary school child had written.
