It was a lovely fluffy book for the holidays. Occupied my mind while working on Christmas gifts. Much better story an the Hallmark movie of the same piece.
It was a lot of fun to listen. Yes you know where it is going from the beginning but that is OK. Great light read.
I would not read another book by this author. I found it to have no redeeming value.
If you can admit that you are never going to see your 30s again and even your 40s are quickly waning away. You will love this book. It starts a bit dark but there is humor in everything as we quickly learn.Life is never what we expect and I guess it is all in how you approach it. She approaches it with the idea that there is always something to laugh at. She asks the important questions like "why do you ask the fashion opinion of someone who dresses like a tree and and wears Eau D'Buck, during hunting season?'
I have loved all of her books this one is no exception. Enjoy.
This is the only way to enjoy this story. Tina Fey does I great job. More than her reading a book to you, it feels like she is slouched on your couch with you with several bottles of wine. She is telling you the great stories of how she got where she is. While she is at it she is pulling her iPhone out to show you the pictures to emphasize it. Thanks for the PDF.
This was a heart wrenching story. On the surface it seems simple. Family secrets are never simple. They change lives in ways no one can predict.
