Picture a world intricately entwined with our own, yet separate, pulsing with the raw energy and vivid color of Celtic myth come to life. Picture Albion.

"why does this narrator think celts are from India"
    Overall

This book is just as good as the 1st 2 with one glaring exception this narrator is terrible. He seems to think the Celtic people are from India. Rather than the strong Celtic dialect we are forced to listen to Indian dialect.

Only a handful of people in the world know that mankind's magic comes from a living creature, and it is a refugee from another universe. The Power showed up here in the 1850s because it was running from something. Now it is 1933, and the Power's hiding place has been discovered by a killer. It is a predator that eats magic and leaves destroyed worlds in its wake. Earth is next. Former private eye Jake Sullivan knows the score. The problem is, hardly anyone believes him.

What did you love best about Warbound?

Assuming this is the final book in the series, what an amazing finale it was. I loved the heroin she was strong yet flawed throughout. Making her a likable character. All of the characters were vibrantly portrayed. The author captured the era so well.

Druid Atticus O’Sullivan hasn’t stayed alive for more than two millennia without a fair bit of Celtic cunning. So when vengeful thunder gods come Norse by Southwest looking for payback, Atticus, with a little help from the Navajo trickster god Coyote, lets them think that they’ve chopped up his body in the Arizona desert. But the mischievous Coyote is not above a little sleight of paw, and Atticus soon finds that he’s been duped into battling bloodthirsty desert shape-shifters called skinwalkers.

    Any additional comments?

This book is a great addition to the Series and I can't wait to listen to Trapped. It is great we get a bit of Trapped as an added bonus at the end of this one. This is not a book for a closed minded ultra-conservative/religious, so you have been warned. However if you can separate your politics/religious beliefs from a fun story, this one doesn't disappoint.

Dark fantasy goes hardboiled in Book II of the hard-hitting Grimnoir Chronicles by the New York Times best-selling creator of Monster Hunter International. The Grimnoir Society’s mission is to protect people with magic, and they’ve done so—successfully and in secret—since the mysterious arrival of the Power in the 1850s, but when a magical assassin makes an attempt on the life of President Franklin Roosevelt, the crime is pinned on the Grimnoir.

Would you consider the audio edition of Spellbound to be better than the print version?

If you are hardcore liberal Larry Correia's writings may not be for you. However if you aren't then the book as well as all his others are a blast to listen to. Can't wait for his next in this series and the monster hunter's series to hit audio.

Inquisitor Glokta, a crippled and bitter relic of the last war, former fencing champion turned torturer, is trapped in a twisted and broken body - not that he allows it to distract him from his daily routine of torturing smugglers.Nobleman, dashing officer and would-be fencing champion Captain Jezal dan Luthar is living a life of ease by cheating his friends at cards. Vain and shallow, the biggest blot on his horizon is having to get out of bed in the morning to train with obsessive and boring old men.

    Overall

I loved this book. The 1st 6 hours of book one was slow and at times it really droned on for me but after that I couldn't stop listening until the end of book 3. Loved the characters and the fact that when you thought you knew them something would happen and change your perspective again and again.
