"WoW Loved it"
It is a tight knit story that has you anxious for the next chapter. About half way through I tried to slow down to savor it. Couldn't keep my finger away from the audible icon
"Obvious why his first novel was not widely publish"
I found the story to ramble and was hard to understand. There are spots that show a future Harry Hole and his allure. This is a story for a long time Jo Nesbo fan to suck it up and be able too say you read his first one. The narration was poor.
"Second Q book"
Jussi is on too something . This series is excellent and I am hoping for the next offering soon
"Nesbo is the nuts"
Like the glutton I am I devoured all the Nesbo books and sit waiting for the next serving
"I love department Q"
Scandinavian police procedurals are the best if you haven't fallen in love with the genre yet give this baby a try.
"It's a Jack Reacher story"
Doesn't stray far from the formula which is what most of we Reacher fans appreciate
"Spoiled by Scandinavians"
Been a long time fan of Burke read most of his books but after getting hooked on the Swedes and Norwegians he seems like he is writing poetry instead of a novel
"This was supposedly a recommendation by the ace"
I could not finish this it was beyond boring. After hours of meaningless drivel we find that the whole story has been told by countless other authors much better
"Someone should have listened to this"
The narration of this story is atrocious Never buy a book narrated by this guy Gage. Is there a process by which I can get a return credit?
"The whole series is great"
If you're reading this and wondering whether you want to get involved in this take my word it's worth it written for young people enjoyed by us old timers
"Most disappointing"
I've been a fan of Goodkind's work from the beginning so it was especially disappointing to see him fall into the category of stephan king's money grubbing style of writing words for money to hell with content.
