I read this book as a kid when it first came out... And it suck in my mind, just one of those things... Glad I was able to find it, went on a long road trip and listened to it with my son. I liked the book better reading it.. that is probably because I was not being distracted with driving. Worth the listen to or read.
I really like that the author is telling his own story... With emotion.
He had great emotion in all the right places.
The book is exactly what the title says. It is worth the listen to, if nothing else it will make you think about your life choices. But if... You are looking for a how to book, for a middle age man to re-create himself... this is not it. This book is how Rich did it, like I said it is worth the listen. Happy listening.
I was disappointed in a positive way. The title made me think the book would be more gender neutral. I like Patti (Author) so don't want this to sound to negative. This book was written by a woman for women. FEMALES: If you are looking for a book that tells you step by step how to go from meeting a man to marriage, this is book is well written with lots of stories. MEN: Patti knows what she is talking about, for both men and women. The book is worth the read/listen to. Especially if you want to know that the other side is being taught. As a man I did get some ahha's, but had to pay attention because it was all aimed toward the female... Hope this helps.
One of the best books I have read/listened to for a long time.
I especially like that the author himself read the book
