"I Wish I Had Never Listened to This"
After 20 hours of listening I still have no idea what the health secrets are. I am convinced that it is a miracle any of us lived past the age of 10. My only guess, since he continually recommends supplements of all kinds for every disease and element that can effect our health, that I should be taking 30 - 50 single vitamins and oils. He focuses so much on everything that is wrong with our health, the health system, our society, other doctors, dentists, and such that the message of the title is completely lost. I really have no idea where to start. Lots of information about how our body works but that is about it.
I would not listen to anything else from Dr Blaylock but I would buy his books for reference if I needed statistics. He is very smart and he lets you know that no other doctor will do.
It took longer to get through the material. The story is quite long and boring so I would have skipped all the fluff in this book.
Pull all my teeth out that have fillings.
This audio is not worth the 20 hours it takes to listen to it. Buy the book and keep it for reference and just skim through the interesting parts.
"A Very Educational Book / Audio"
This is one of the best audio books I have listened to regarding health and our environment. It's material that should be taught in school but will never be allowed until the government gets out of public schools and stops controlling the curriculum.
By far the most memorable moment of the book was making the distinction between our eating habits and their affect on the environment.
Mike doesn't just read the story to you, he is engaged in it.
I think this entire book is good. A lot of the nutritional information is identical to "The China Study". That's good since I hope more people get that message and act on what they learn.
This is a very good audio and I highly recommend listening if you are ready to make changes to your health and the environment. They are more connected than I ever knew.
"A Book You Can Act On"
This is a great audio book and I really enjoyed listening to it. I think the story has it all; facts, statistics, case studies, a Doctor willing to tell the truth, and the "Why" you should take action. After listening to the audio book I want to go buy the book just to have it for reference. Believe me, this is not a waste of money to have it in both forms. I will listen to this more than once.
How the story goes against the grain of conventional belief.
He keeps the story interesting. I almost felt like he was reading the book with interest and not just narrating the book.
Here is a Doctor that had to reflect on his own beliefs when he started to understand the data he was receiving from the research he was doing. He didn't just stay with the system he was a big part of. He took a bold leap of faith to bring us truth. That could be the difference between a scientist and a doctor.
Read this book. It could change your life.
"Cross Between Reiki and NLP"
I didn't mind listening to the book but I got tired of him feeling like a profit. I agree that energy has a lot to do with healing and I am happy people get relief from the program but I think he was listening to Tony Robbins and Reiki Guru when he wrote this; not God. I do like books on energy healing so if you can get past his righteousness you can enjoy the book and try this on yourself. Why not, it can't hurt!
I agree that energy has a lot to to with healing but I would rather read the book than listen to this. There are parts I would like to go back to without having to listen to him talk about the "fluff" but I didn't write down the times where he said things I liked. Also, the book might have pictures that would be helpful.
I wouldn't listen to him again but I would buy his book so I could skip him glorifying himself.
The narrator did a pretty good job with the story.
If I know someone who had a depression or other mental disorder and they have tried everything else, I would recommend the book for them to try.
A better book than audio program.
