I would not recommend this audiobook mainly because the narrator could not pronounce some frequently used words correctly. I spent most of the book cringing at and focusing on the painful mispronunciations, and the story was not interesting enough to distract me from it. As for the story itself, it felt like a lot of improbable leaps were made without explanation. I was so busy wondering how it got from point A to D that I couldn't get into it.
Better narrator was needed for sure, or at least someone to tell her how to pronounce the words. This particular story would also be much improved if additional details were added to flesh out the story.
I should not have bothered to listen to the end, I feel like it was a waste of time.
I love the modern day humor used in this series. I frequently find myself thinking "I have to remember to use that one!". This author has me laughing out loud and wanting to go back to listen to all of the books again when I'm done. The narrator does a GREAT job of getting across the emotion and humor as intended or even better than intended by the author.
The main character because of the great dialogue.
Absolutely, this one and each subsequesnt book in the series had me laughing.
