Not so long ago Marcus Walker was just another young commodities trader in Chicago, working hard and playing harder. But that's all in the past, part of a life half forgotten-a reality that vanished when he was attacked while camping and tossed aboard a starship bound for deep space. Desperately, Walker searches for explanations, only to realize he's trapped in a horrifying nightmare that is all too real. Instead of being a rich hotshot at the top of the food chain, Walker discovers he's just another amusing novelty, part of a cargo of “cute” aliens from primitive planets....

Indy Savage is a former wild child (okay, maybe not so "former") and current used-bookstore owner. Lee Nightingale is a former bad boy and now runs a private investigation service. Toss together a quiet barista with a not-so-lawful side-business, a crazy Vietnam Vet, a pothead, a drag queen, family and friends who will not mind their own business, a few stun guns, and a bag of diamonds, and mix them all up with some shootings, a high-speed chase and car bombs exploding, then hang on for your first wild Rock Chick ride.

They were the young ones, the bright ones, the ones with the dreams. From the Nazi-prowled wastes of North Africa to the bloody corridors of Europe, they honorably answered the call. War - it was their duty, their job, their life. They marched off as boys and they came back - those who made it - as soldiers and professionals forged in the heat of battle....

Would you consider the audio edition of The Lieutenants to be better than the print version?

YES! The one exception is the narrators inability to pronounce German words.
I spent 7 years in Germany and learned the language in self defense. German in-laws!
It hurts my ears to hear "fur-line" when referring to a young lady. YIKES!

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

Having read the book some 15 plus years ago I had forgotten much of the story. I am real enjoying the "re telling"

Did Eric G. Dove do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

other than the poor German, he is doing an excellent job.

What made the experience of listening to Bloodline the most enjoyable?

I think my disappointment lies in the narrator. His monotone delivery is distracting, so much so, that if possible I'll return this book leaving the balance "unread".

Has Bloodline turned you off from other books in this genre?

The genre is one of my favorites.

Would you be willing to try another one of Peter Jay Fernandez’s performances?

I don't think so. All his characters have the same voice/accent.
