Enjoyable listen. Suzanne Collins and Carolyn McCormick get and keep your attention on this great sci fi series. I always enjoy multiple actor performances best, but Carolyn did a great job. Looking to get the final installment soon.
If you like Ender's game...here is the companion book...same time line, Bean's point of view...great performance.
This was a good listen...too bad the next book in the series: 'foundation and earth'- it was great book---the climax the foundation series...but what a brutal listen. Scott Brick did a fine job with other foundation books, and he should've did the final book also.
I have listened to much of the Dune series also...all very good esp 'Dune.'
Scott Brick did much of it also, and was good. Simon Vance as the narrator in 'Dune' is a real treat-- he is probably one of my favorites...in any of his narrations.
I think Ender's Game will always be OSC best..both book, and audible performance. Ender's Shadow was great also, and all the remaining 'Ender' series were very good. This one really hooks you in from the start and keeps your interest. I had read the book before listening and enjoyed it, and was looking forward to reading the rest of this series by OSC, and was surprised to see this available so soon. I think it's his best since the original Ender book. I almost always like multiple performer books better than single narrated ones. That's my take on it ...enjoy!
I've listened to this so many times...I never get tired of it!
Frank Herbert's best book. The more times you read or listen to it, the more you can appreciate it.
Great cast. Simon Vance is the best of the best.
I think this is the best audio book I've ever listened to, along with Lord of the Rings series performed by Bob Inglis.
