What did you like best about My Mother Was Nuts? What did you like least?

The Memoir was funny and at times kept me wanting to listen, but over all the book was not the best..I guess unless you knew all the people she was writing about it might of made a difference, but i just could not get into it.

Would you recommend My Mother Was Nuts to your friends? Why or why not?

The book had its good qualities, but not sure i would recommend this book!!

What else would you have wanted to know about Penny Marshall’s life?

    not sure!!

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

I would not recommend this bio

Has Shaq Uncut turned you off from other books in this genre?

The beginning was interesting and then as the book read on it was more and more difficult to listen to. Boring I guess. Iam sure Shaq is a nice person and seemingly very generous, but the book was slow and the same things again and again were talked about..

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

Maybe a different Narrator would of sounded better

Do you think Shaq Uncut needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

    no!! Enough said!!

From Buck Brannaman, best-selling author of The Faraway Horses, Believe: A Horseman's Journey continues to chronicle Buck's efforts as a catalyst and mentor through the stories of thirteen people with whom he has worked.

What would have made Believe better?

The story line was good. Listening to the narrator Karen White made it very difficult to listen to. She just did not fit. It made no sense to have a women's voice to narrate the women's story. I had a very difficult time listening to her voice and it ruined the entire story. Buck Brannamans first book " Faraway Horses" was Amazing, not this one..

What other book might you compare Believe to and why?

Buck Brannamans first book " Faraway Horses" was the Best and we all just loved the narrating.

What didn’t you like about John Pruden and Karen White ’s performance?

Keeping John Pruden as the narrator. I had a very difficulty time listening to Karen White. The stories would of been great without the narrator Karen White.

    Any additional comments?

Have John Pruden be the narrator and remove Karen from the book

It's a sad and eerie harbinger of our times that the Oprah-watching, crystal-rubbing, Whole Foods-shopping moms and their whipped attorney husbands have taken the ability to reason away from the poor schlub who makes the Bloody Marys. What we used to settle with common sense or a fist, we now settle with hand sanitizer and lawyers. Adam Carolla has had enough of this insanity and he's here to help us get our collective balls back.

Rod Stewart was born the working class son of a Scottish plumber in north London. Despite some early close shaves with a number of diverse career paths ranging from gravedigging to professional soccer, it was music that truly captured his heart - and he never looked back. Rod’s is an incredible life, and here - thrillingly and for the first time - he tells the entire thing, leaving no knickers under the bed. A rollicking rock ’n’ roll adventure that is at times deeply moving, this is the remarkable journey of a guy with one hell of a voice - and one hell of a head of hair.

Ninotchka says: "If you think he's sexy - or not - give it a go!"

If you could sum up Rod in three words, what would they be?

Rod seems to be a good writer, this i enjoyed, but by the end i was getting tired of hearing how many times he fell in love and all his ex-wives. I think Rod himself should of read done the reading, this might of made a big difference. Simon Vance did a good job, but i believe hearing Rods voice might of made a difference.
