I have not read a printed version of anything since I have become an audible listener and probably never will again....audio supercedes the written word for me especially with an awesome narrator like Sofia Willingham!
I loved Damien and Nikki as a whole, they are dead as individuals but come to life when together.
Soul, emotion, intensity.....
Yes...I would listen to the whole trilogy in 1 sitting if I could!
Sad but so good. A story of a guy who justs wants to help. He is haunted by his bad choices but the listener is rewarded by his good choices. Wonderful characters, their stories true to life, brought together by a beautifully, haunting narration. I loved it!
The story of a stalker and his victim. He seems very normal but he is a psychopath. This listen was just ok to me, the narration was good. This story is from the mind of the stalker, his psyche and why he does what he does. I've read and listened to a lot of murder/killer stories and this one just did not shock me. This story rationalized why the stalker did what he did and was unique to me from that perspective.
Part 2 of Miller and Olivia's story and it was wonderful. I love this author and narrator. It is not just a boy meets girl, fall in love and have sex story, there is darkness involved. This Man and One Night trilogies held my interest throughout, I just love them!
I was more interested in why the world was the way it was and not many of my questions were answered. There was not much difference in the usual boy meets girl, romance and have sex stories already out there. I don't think I will continue on with the series, I suspect it is more of the same, just different characters.
Rich older man, young beautiful stripper....unrealistic plot. I just kept picturing the male drooling and on his knees by the stage. I just could not finish it! Returning!
I could not finish this listen, I tried, there was no beginning storyline that grabbed me and held my attention. Returning!
Very realistic BDSM, based on real life experience. I liked book #1 and enjoyed this one too, it was hard to put down. There is a #3 and I plan on listening to it too.
I loved this story, so funny, I laughed all throughout the listen. This is the story of sister # 2, she finds true love and helps her love's sister get out of a bad marriage to be...hi-jinx ensue! Fabulous narration!
Great story, suspenseful and creepy with a little love and tenderness mixed in. The narrator was good, she didn't get a five because of her attempt at foreign accents, but otherwise she performed the story instead of just reading. I have yet to listen to a Greg Isles book that I have not loved!
Great story and great narrator....I almost skipped it because there were no Will Trent or Sara Linton, I am glad I didn't. This story had it all...mystery, sex, humor and sadness all in the male dominated police force of the early 70's....so, so good! I highly recommend all of Karin Slaughter's books but make sure and start from the beginning, her stories have BIG shock value and I have loved them all!
