Keller is intelligent, critical, and well-researched in his arguments for the Christian God. His argument for religion is not self-righteous, but he does not concede any of the Christian moral values.
If every person in America read this book thoughtfully, we would see far reaching positive repercussions. Solomon delves into hundreds of lives and describes how they manage the lot they were given. He knew each family personally for years as he compiled the book. It is a long book, but the quickest way to appreciate the human experience, central to which is parenting.
Short synopsis before each act so you never get lost. Great sound quality, good voices.
This work is as relevant today as when it was written. The "highlights" version seemed to do the trick too. AMAZING.
one of the best novels of all time and very well narrated. one that you can listen to over and over.
this audiobook was brief and helpful if you want quick, last-minute tips before an interview.
this abridged version is too short, you might as well just see the play or watch the movie. buy a longer version to get a better sense of the original writing.
its not pride and prejudice, but it's beautifully written. contains the same courtship dynamics and types of characters you would expect if you like jane austen.
with an interesting plot and a good narrator, the book flew and was very enjoyable.
