Now that the werewolves have revealed themselves to humans, they can't afford any bad publicity. Infractions that could have been overlooked in the past must now be punished, and the strain of doing his father's dirty work is taking a toll on Charles. Nevertheless, Charles and Anna are sent to Boston when the FBI requests the pack's help on a local serial killer case. They quickly realize that not only the last two victims were werewolves - all of them were.

Where does Fair Game rank among all the audiobooks you???ve listened to so far?

This series is very good, interesting and appealing. Right off the bat I was drawn in by the storyline, anticipating the next book! Anna and Charles's struggles have been easy to relate to and as a werewolf tale is does the genre proud. If I had two wishes it would be for the next books to be released sooner and for the story length to be longer.

What about Holter Graham???s performance did you like?

I love Holter Graham as a narrator! His voice is very pleasant to the ear and I have sought out other books he has narrated.

    Any additional comments?

I find the story of Anna and Charles very engaging and entertaining and I am always looking forward to the next one but??? I find the extreme length of time between books disappointing. Because of this the reader risks loosing their closeness to the characters and storyline.

Ever since the death of his shellan, Tohrment has been unrecognizable from the vampire leader he once was. Physically emaciated and heartbroken beyond despair, he has been brought back to the Brotherhood by a self-serving fallen angel. Now, fighting once again with ruthless vengeance, he is unprepared to face a new kind of tragedy. When Tohr begins to see his beloved in his dreams - trapped in a cold, isolated netherworld far from the peace and tranquility of the Fade - he turns to the angel in hopes of saving the one he has lost.

I have been an audible member for 2 yrs now and have purchased / listened to 200 books which include 20 different series! The BLACK DAGGER BROTHERHOOD is by far my BEST LOVED! This series in my opinion is incredibly written to the point that I feel I know the characters so well that they come to life right off the pages. The author has solicited more tears, laughter and anticipation from me than any other. This is an adult series that is very sexually explicit nevertheless it goes with the theme of the story from beginning to end. I restart the series from book 1 each time J.R.Ward releases a new book just to relive the experience over again. If you love strong ALPHA men then the series will definitely appeal to your senses.

And she’s drinking copious amounts of caffeine to stay awake because, every time she closes her eyes, she sees him: Reyes Farrow, the parthuman, part-supermodel son of Satan. A smashing, award-winning debut novel that introduces Charley Davidson: part-time private investigator and full-time Grim Reaper Charley sees dead people. That’s right, she sees dead people. And it’s her job to convince them to “go into the light.” But when these very dead people have died under less than ideal circumstances (i.e. murder), sometimes they want Charley to bring the bad guys to justice.

This story is wonderfully written with lots of humour and irrestitable characters! I love the sarcastic banter and fast pace plot. I would highly recommend this book and series to anyone wanting an excellent and entertaining escape from the usual fantasy story lines.
It also goes without saying,"Hats off to Lorelei King" who is an incredible narrator! She has a phenomenal way of bringing a book to life!
Darynda Jones is now in the top 5 of my favorite authors.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

As I said in my review of the first book there is still that predictability of the story but??? In this book I'm not sure if the creation of a character whose origins which are not usually associated with this type of story was last ditched attempt or a plan aimed at diversifying a typical vampire story by the author. So my impression of this series remains the same, it is good with this book a tad more interesting than the first.

What does Kirsten Potter bring to the story that you wouldn???t experience if you just read the book?

Kirsten Potter is a very good narrator.

Would you try another book from Dianne Duvall and/or Kirsten Potter?

Lets see, how to describe this story as I don't want to offend the aurthor in any way but as I was listening to the story it felt predictable. Please don't get me wrong in that it was good and good enough that I purchased the second book but there wasn't much I couldn't forsee coming ahead of the story, so that is why I didn't give it a much higher rating.

What does Kirsten Potter bring to the story that you wouldn???t experience if you just read the book?

Narrators can make or break even the best of stories. Kristen Potter has a very pleasant voice and her depictions of the characters was well done. I would listen to another story by her again.

    Any additional comments?

In the present day it is very hard to create a different vampire story. The genre is extremely popular and many of the stories have familiar tendencies. Now having said that I adore the fantasy genre the most and consider this book / books to be enjoyable but not great.

Calla has always welcomed war. But now that the final battle is upon her, there's more at stake than fighting. There's saving Ren, even if it incurs Shay's wrath. There's keeping Ansel safe, even if he's been branded a traitor. There's proving herself as the pack's alpha, facing unnamable horrors, and ridding the world of the Keepers' magic once and for all. And then there's deciding what to do when the war ends. If Calla makes it out alive, that is.

Would you be willing to try another book from Andrea Cremer? Why or why not?

I'm not sure at this point. Feelings can enhance a story but in this case there is too much of the same tedious inner conflict.

Was Bloodrose: A Nightshade Novel worth the listening time?

The storyline is greatly diminished by the monotonous inner turmoil of the main character that is really annoying. Do I love this one or that one and should I pick this one or that one, blah blah blah? She's an ALPHA WOLF who demonstrates too much weakness and fear and not enough strength of character or self control. This in itself is a huge contradiction. I have listened to all the books hoping this one would have less inner monologue but it seems to have more.

This series is purely enjoyable. The unfolding of each mystery keeps me involved and entertained until they solve it! The character development is also wonderful, creating 3 dimensional individuals that now feel like old friends. I can't wait to go on another adventure with this duo!

What about Jim Frangione???s performance did you like?

I love Jim as a narrator, his depiction of Chet and Bernie is exactly how I would envision their mannerism and speech to be!

I really enjoyed this book, so much so I listened to it in one shot. I found the plot had several twists and turns with creative characters drawing me in more and more.
This is not your typical vampire book but that shouldn't discourage you from buying it! I don't want to give anything away but the author has a real talent for writing sarcasm.
I'm on to book 2 now!
