the characters were well developed. especially carrie herself tho i felt her feelings of poor self esteem could have been developed even more.
i liked the picture that was graphically developed and showed how mean high school kids can be and it can really affect your self worth the rest of your life.
when carrie had her moment in the sun at the prom tho it was short lived.
i liked the reading but no character stands out as better than the rest.
i felt sad that a situation that was unnecessarily hopeless and could have been avoided wasn't.
THE WHOLE BOOK. POSITIVE, PLEASANT, GREAT DEVELOPMENT, GREAT STORY.
ALFRED. HE WAS SUCH A GREAT KID. THE AUTHOR MADE THAT COME ACROSS.
I DON'T THINK SO. SHE DID A GREAT JOB!!
YES BUT IT TOOK THREE DAYS AND FOUR SITTINGS TO HEAR THE WHOLE BOOK.
I WILL READ ATHIS ONE AGAIN.
I DON,T THINK SO.
DON'T DRAG THE BEGINNING AND DON'T SCREW UP THE END OF THE PLOT.
I WOULD NOT BUY IT!
INSTEAD OF WASTING SO MUCH EFFORT ON SUCH A BORING BEGINNING, THE AUTHOR NEEDED TO TAKE THE TIME TO END THE BOOK IN A MORE IMAGINATIVE WAY.
I LIKE THE WAY CHARACTERS INTERACTED WITH EACH OTHER. THIS BOOK GAVE YOU A VIEW OFWHY THE GRANDMOTHER IN "FLOWERS IN THE ATTIC" BEHAVED THE WAY SHE DID.
ALL THE VC ANDREWS BOOKS IN THE FLOWER IN THE ATTIC SERIES REMIND ME OF EACH OTHER AS THEY INVOLVE THE SAME CHARACTERS. THIS ONE CENTERED ON THE GRANDMOTHER, OLIVIA AND HER LIFE.
OLIVIA WAS MY FAVORITE.
I THINK I WOULD LIKE TO TAKE OUT JOHN AMOS. I WANT TO KNOW WHAT HE WAS THINKING.
I READ THIS BOOK WHEN I WAS ABLE TO PHYSICALLY READ. NOW I CAN READ IT ANYTIME I WANT ON AUDIO! I LOVE THE BOOK.
YES. I WOULD HAVE NOT LEFT READER HANGING. WHAT HAPPENED TO HIS SON? WHAT HAPPENED TO HIS FAMILY?
IT WAS NOT SLAM BAM ENDING. IT WAS OK.
WHY WAS IT SO DISJOINTED? I HAVE LOVED HIS WORKS BUT THIS ONE IS A DISAPPOINTMENT.
IF THEIR WAS A REAL PLOT.
NOTHING STOOD OUT. KIND OF MUNDANE.
NOT REALLY. IT WAS PRETTY BORING IMHO.
IF IT WAS PEPPED UP IT MITE MAKE A GOOD MOVIE. BUT IT WOULD HAVE TO BE PEPPED UP A LOT!
ENJOYABLE, WELL-READ, GREAT STORY
YES, IT HAD NO DULL SPOTS. I READ THIS BOOK IN THE PERIOD OF TWO DAYS.
THE READERS WERE AMAZING. IT MADE THE BOOK EVEN BETTER. I THINK IT IS NOT EASY TO FIND SEVERAL READERS WHO DO SUCH A GOOD PART IN READING.
THERE WERE PARTS THAT I FOUND VERY EMOTIONAL.
READ THIS BOOK. IT IS WELL DEVELOPED AND IS AMONG MY TOP TEN BOOKS NOW. THIS IS SAYING A LOT AS I HAVE AT LEAST 220 BOOKS. I BOUGHT I WILL READ THIS BOOK WITH MY SIGNIFICANT OTHER AGAIN IN A FEW DAYS. I KNOW HE WILL LOVE IT.
A BOOK BUT NOT A PLAY.
IT HAD LOTS OF POTENTIAL. BUT I FELT THE PLAY LEFT SOMETHING OUT. I DID NOT FEEL I UNDERSTOOD THE WHOLE STORY. I MAY READ IT AGAIN AS IT IS NOT THAT LONG. I FELT IT GOT BETTER TWORDS THE END.
I LOVED RICHARD DREYFUSS ESPACIALLY BUT I AM PARTIAL TO HIM. I HAVE SEEN HIM IN MANY MOVIES. HE IS TALENTED.
YES IT WAS BUT IT COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER. IF I WAS IN THE AUDIENCE I AM SURE I WOULD HAVE GOTTEN A LOT MORE OUT OF THE STORY.
IT WAS OK. I PROBABLY WON'T READ IT AGAIN.
IT WAS FACTUAL. I SAW THE TRIAL ON THE NOW DEFUNCT COURT TV. BUT IT WAS HOLLOW.
IT WAS NOT A BOOK THAT HAD ANY SCENES THAT WERE INTERESTING OR SPECIAL.
I DON'T FEEL I KNOW ANY OF THE PEOPLE IN THIS STORY. IT IS TOO BAD IT WAS AN INTERESTING TRIAL AND I WOULD HAVE LIKE TO KNOW HOW THESE PEOPLE EALLY INTERACTED.
I Have only read the audio version
TOO MANY. MITE SPOIL MOMENTS FOR OTHER OTHER READERS.
NICK, BUT ALL WERE GREAT.
A MOMENT WHERE NICK SAID SOMETHING TO JESS.
WOULD MAKE A GREAT MOVIE. I WILL READ THIS AGAIN.
IF PROTAGONIST WOULD STOP WEAK JOKES AND THE IMPROBABLE SCENE IN THE MIDDLE OF A HURRICANE. SO REDICULOUS!
DEADLY LESSONS THE PAM SMART STORY.
UNTIL THE SCENE WHERE THEY WENT FOOLHARDY INTO THAT STORM IT WAS GOOD......EVEN WITH THE LAME CONSTANT AND MOSTLY INAPPROPRIATE JOKES.
ASPRIN STOCKS WILL RISE WHEN PEOPLE LISTEN TO THIS.
