Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

yes but only for those who can take extreme tension and who like scary books.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Cujo?

memorable is not a word i would use for cujo. scary is a better word. the scariest moment for me was when cujo got donna's leg and stomach. also when the dog killed the policeman, gary, and joe (whom i found unlikable--but no one deserves what happened to him)

    Which scene was your favorite?

favorite? another inappropriate word. the book is plain scary. maybe when chaity bought joe the chain pull (or what ever you call it) and then made the deal so she could visit her sister.

Who was the most memorable character of Cujo and why?

i know donna should be. but that mean guy joe comes to mind.

    Any additional comments?

it was pretty hard to read it was so tense. i had to read another book at the same time to break up the book. i wanted to hear the whole book...every word but i know i would not have been able to if i had not broken the tension once in a while.

seen the movie and read the book. i do know when i read the book i often skipped pages when it got too scary.

    it was a good read.

With a career, a boyfriend, and a loving family, Piper Kerman barely resembles the reckless young woman who delivered a suitcase of drug money 10 years ago. But that past has caught up with her. Convicted and sentenced to 15 months at the infamous federal correctional facility in Danbury, Connecticut, the well-heeled Smith College alumna is now inmate #11187-424 - one of the millions of women who disappear "down the rabbit hole" of the American penal system.

Would you listen to Orange is the New Black again? Why?

MAYBE. IT WAS NOT A BAD BOOK. BUT IT WAS TOO LONG FOR THE STORY.

What did you like best about this story?

IT WAS DIFFERENT. FOR ME ANYWAY.

Which character – as performed by Cassandra Campbell – was your favorite?

HAS TO BE PIPER OR POP. PIPER BECAUSE I KNEW HER BEST. POP SEEMED THE MOST INTERESTING THO.

What’s the most interesting tidbit you’ve picked up from this book?

NOTHING I HOPE I WILL HAVE TO KNOW. I DON'T EXPECT TO BE BREAKING THE LAW ANYTIME SOON.

    Any additional comments?

IT IS A SERIES AND I HAVE NOT SEEN IT AS I WATCH NO TV TO SPEAK OF. I IMAGINE IT IS A GOOD SERIES.

"I believe there is another man inside every man, a stranger...." writes Wilfred Leland James in the early pages of the riveting confession that makes up "1922", the first in this pitch-black quartet of mesmerizing tales from Stephen King. For James, that stranger is awakened when his wife, Arlette, proposes selling off the family homestead and moving to Omaha, setting in motion a gruesome train of murder and madness.

Would you consider the audio edition of Full Dark, No Stars to be better than the print version?

I CAN'T READ ANYMORE. I ONLY HAVE READ THE AUDIO VERSION.

What other book might you compare Full Dark, No Stars to and why?

HARD TO SAY. IT WAS SEVERAL STORIES. THE FIRST STORY DID NOT APPEAL TO ME BUT THE OTHER ONES DID.

    Which scene was your favorite?

I LIKED THE SECOND STORY THE BEST.

If you could rename Full Dark, No Stars, what would you call it?

    BEST NOVELLAS BY KING.

    Any additional comments?

I BELIEVE THE SECOND NOVELLA COULD HAVE BEEN MADE INTO A FULL LENGTH BOOK. IT WOULD NOT DRAG. IT WAS VERY INTENSE.

Would you listen to Coma again? Why?

YES I WILL. I READ IT SEVERAL TIMES. I ENJOY THE STORY AS WELL AS THE MOVIE.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

    YES, HOW? THE TENSION.

Have you listened to any of January LaVoy’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I DON'T KNOW. I HAVE READ OVER 200 BOOKS ON AUDIBLE.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

NO BUT IT IS ONE I WOULD LISTEN TO IN A FEW SITTINGS.

    Any additional comments?

THE TECHNICAL STUFF ONLY APPEALS TO DOCTORS AND NURSES. I DON'T UNDERSTAND IT AND DID NOT CARE FOR IT. BUT OVERALL, THE STORY WAS THE BEST ONE ROBIN COOK HAS WRITTEN. I AM GLAD AUDIBLE GOT THIS BOOK FINALLY!

What about Scott Brick’s performance did you like?

SCOTT BRICK ALWAYS DOES A SUPERB JOB.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

WHEN I FOUND OUT GREG WAS DEAD IT SADDENED ME. BUT THERE WERE MANY OTHER MOMENTS. GREG WAS AN INNOCENT PERSON WHO JUST GOT CAUGHT UP IN SOMETHING BY CHANCE.

    Any additional comments?

I DON'T LIKE THE LOVE SCENES IN THIS BOOK. IT JUST DISTRACTED ME FROM THE STORY. I LIKE THE TENSION AND DON'T LIKE THE INTERRUPTION OF SOMEONE'S LOVE LIFE.

Dr. Emory Charbonneau, a pediatrician and marathon runner, disappears on a mountain road in North Carolina. By the time her husband Jeff, miffed over a recent argument, reports her missing, the trail has grown cold. Literally. Fog and ice encapsulate the mountainous wilderness and paralyze the search for her. While police suspect Jeff of "instant divorce," Emory, suffering from an unexplained head injury, regains consciousness and finds herself the captive of a man whose violent past is so dark that he won't even tell her his name.

Would you recommend Mean Streak to your friends? Why or why not?

What about Jonathan Davis’s performance did you like?

GOOD JOB READING THE BOOK. ENJOYED THE READING.

WHY WRITE SUCH A GREAT BOOK WITH A FEW LAME PARTS THAT KIND OF RUINED THE BOOK AS A WHOLE. IT WAS NOT A WASTE OF TIME BUT I DOUBT I WOULD READ IT AGAIN EITHER.

But their curiosity soon turned to suspicion when Anna Homeyer suddenly disappeared, leaving the town with a number of unanswered questions.

A vicious 15-year-old droog is the central character of this 1963 classic, a frightening fable about good and evil, and the meaning of human freedom. In Anthony Burgess' nightmare vision of the future, where the criminals take over after dark, the story is told by the central character, Alex, who talks in a brutal invented slang that brilliantly renders his and his friends' social pathology.

Who was your favorite character and why?

    I HAD NO FAVE.

What does Tom Hollander bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

IT MUST BE HARD TALKING IN CODE ENGLISH. TOOK A WILE TO FIGURE THINGS OUT.

If you could take any character from A Clockwork Orange out to dinner, who would it be and why?

ALEX'S PARENTS AND ASK THEM WHAT IT WAS LIKE TO HAVE A SON LIKE ALEX THEY WERE AFRAID OF HIM.

    Any additional comments?

IT WOULD BE MUCH MORE ENJOYABLE WITH PLAIN ENGLISH. IT WAS QUITE VIOLENT. I WOULD LIKE TO UNDERSTAND WHY THESE KIDS WERE SO SADISTIC.

Have you listened to any of Luke Daniels’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I DON'T KNOW. HE WAS A GOOD READER.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

    Any additional comments?

IT IS NOT A BOOK I RECOMMEND FOR EVERYONE. BUT YOUNG PEOPLE WOULD LOVE IT. IF YOU LIKE FUTURISTIC STUFF YOU WOULD PROBABLY LIKE IT TOO.
