Three stylish vampires arrive in New Orleans just in time for Mardis Gras, and then disappear again. While in the city, the group's leader, Zillah, meets and impregnates an adolescent girl. Fifteen years later, the child of that pairing, a boy who calls himself simply "Nothing" is living with adoptive parents in the suburbs, where he – like so many other teens – feels isolated and out of place. The answer is, his father is a vampire, leaving Nothing hovering precariously between worlds.

Would you consider the audio edition of Lost Souls to be better than the print version?

    No.

What other book might you compare Lost Souls to and why?

    Interview With The Vampire, maybe?

How did the narrator detract from the book?

It felt like he just did not connect with the material. All the sad and clever felt lost.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

That is just it, I felt I should be crying during several scenes that felt like they were treated with sort of disdain and slid over.

Where does Click-Clack the Rattlebag rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

    Amazing, Terrifying.

What did you like best about this story?

The slow burn, it just...I just, caught it after 2 mins I. ::Shudder::

Have you listened to any of Neil Gaiman’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes, and it is fully on Par. Mr. Gaiman reads his work with such love.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Yes, 2 mins after the audio stopped and it set in.

    Any additional comments?

Downloaded this a couple weeks back and put it in my Audible shelf and was finishing something else. Put it on in the background at work and let it wash over me.

Chills. The slow slow burn just killed me. Oh man.

Three decades have passed since Wraith Squadron carried out its last mission. Taking on the most dangerous and daring operations, the rogues and misfits of the elite X-Wing unit became legends of the Rebellion and the Second Galactic Civil War, before breaking up and going their separate ways. Now their singular skills are back in vital demand - for a tailor-made Wraith Squadron mission. A powerful general in the Galactic Alliance Army, once renowned for his valor, is suspected of participating in the infamous Lecersen Conspiracy, which nearly toppled the Alliance back into the merciless hands of the Empire.

What made the experience of listening to Star Wars: X-Wing: Mercy Kill the most enjoyable?

Old characters like good friends. Expansion of new people and cleaning of loose ends. All around a wonderful entry by Aaron Allston.

What did you like best about this story?

Nice to get some solid Piggy action.

Have you listened to any of Marc Thompson’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

As always he captures Star Wars perfectly.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Wanted to, yes, did? No. It was wonderfully complex, I kept going back and catching things I had missed.

    Any additional comments?

A spy caper and a wonderful Star Wars Novel.
