Five ordinary people must pay the price of survival at the end of the world. A mysterious virus suddenly strikes down millions. Three days later, its victims awake with a single purpose: spread the Infection. As the world lurches toward the apocalypse, some of the Infected continue to change, transforming into horrific monsters.

Really enjoyed the added twist to the Infection story. Craig is a friendly and accessible author that is truly starting to mature. The stories of the Survivors are touching, horrifying, and realistic. No amount of constructive criticism should keep you from buying this book, so I will keep it to myself. Buy it, enjoy it, and wait for the next one.

When you have to kill the same terrorist twice in one week there’s either something wrong with your world or something wrong with your skills - and there’s nothing wrong with Joe Ledger’s skills. And that’s both a good and a bad thing. It’s good because he’s a Baltimore detective who has just been secretly recruited by the government to lead a new task force created to deal with the problems that Homeland Security can’t handle....

Kim Venatries says: "Yes! It IS that good. Five stars and more."
    "Literature it isn't..."
    Overall

This author clearly watches too much television, creates unrealistic personalities for his characters, and spends way too much time describing action sequences. This is bubblegum action for 14 year olds with no concept of adult relationships, attitudes, personalities or maturity. This is just 24 with zombies. There is nothing at all to like about this story. Awful. Just awful.
