Savannah Slade is not the person she thought she was. The reading of her "father's" will has led her to a world-shattering revelation: her sisters are not her blood kin and she may be the heiress to a massive fortune. Her not-quite-fiance Judd doesn't care where she came from - he only wants her by his side. But the primal need to uncover her past wins out, and Savannah trades the Montana ranges for Miami's moneyed oceanside enclaves.

I am on the second hour of this book and not sure if I can finish it... I don't like the reader and I'm not sure the story can get me thur the rest, pretty sappy and predictable. :-(

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Just lacking.... Its like listening to an abridged book... I wanted to liked it but not worth the credit.... At least I was able to listen to the whole book.

Would you ever listen to anything by Erik Schubach again?

    No

What does Hollie Jackson bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Her voice is pleasant to listen to. It was the only reason I didn't stop the book half way through.

Do you think Return of the Asgard needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

It has sequels, but I will not be downloading them.

"You can leave the army, but the army doesn’t leave you. Not always. Not completely," notes Jack Reacher - and sure enough, the retired military cop is soon pulled back into service. This time, for the State Department and the CIA. Someone has taken a shot at the president of France in the City of Light. The bullet was American. The distance between the gunman and the target was exceptional. How many snipers can shoot from three-quarters of a mile with total confidence? Very few, but John Kott - an American marksman gone bad - is one of them...

Is there anything you would change about this book?

Time for Reacher to retire..... This is the last for me....

If you’ve listened to books by Lee Child before, how does this one compare?

I think Lee Child is out of story lines for Reacher... I would rather he still wanders the US...

What does Dick Hill bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I felt even Dick Hill wasn't excited with this book....

Do you think Personal needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

Mack might be, to all intents and purposes, a normal looking human, but she lives with a pack of shapeshifters in Cornwall in rural England after being dumped there by her mother when she was just a young child. She desperately wants to be accepted by her surrogate family, not least because a lot of them hate her for merely being human, but for some reason her blood just won't allow the transformation to occur.

Merry Gentry pretends to be human. She moved to Los Angeles and began working as a private investigator at Grey's Detective Agency. But all of this is just a disguise; in fact she is a princess of faerie, her real name is Meredith Nic Essus, and she had to flee the Dark Court of Faerie because of attempts on her life. In order to inherit her rightful crown, Merry needed to conceive an heir, a notoriously difficult task for the slow-reproducing Fey. In the 2009 novel Divine Misdemeanors, Merry had finally achieved that goal - and fans have been kept waiting all this time to find out what happens!

Terrorism, duty, and personal safety collide when Jake Pendleton, an investigator for the NTSB, is called to investigate an aircraft accident in Savannah, Georgia during the St. Patrick's Day celebration. The accident, which at first appears to be quite run-of-the-mill, turns out to be anything but. Since Jake is not willing to pretend there are no suspicious circumstances and more than the usual share of rather unlikely "coincidences," he sets off a veritable avalanche of secrets, violence and treachery.

What about Scott Brick’s performance did you like?

    Great reader...

    Any additional comments?

I will say this again. The First six minutes of the book tells you about a part that is 2/3 of the way through the book. It was very distracting to me to know that part was coming up. I enjoy the book but it would of been better not knowing where it was all going.. I will skip the pro-log on book 2.
