I'll make this brief. I'd first like to say, she's got it right. The second thing I'd like to say is she's accurate. And the last thing I'd like to say is she tells the truth. Do you think a Democrat can handle this? It's a wonderful book if you don't run from the truth.
A disapointment. While the technical style of writing is excellent and the narration is equally well done, the theme lacks substance. The characters are moved around like cardboard images and lack the substance of reality. Tom Clancy knows his facts, but I was bored with the feeling the story lacked soul.
The Basics: the actual pace of speach was just right, not too involved yet not too slow to be boring. The actual story was absolutely facinating. I always wondered through the years what the other side of the story was. Here, you get it. All the explanations I heard to explain American expansionism seemed to be only one sided. If you have a conscience you'll be interested in this rendition of the truth. Excellent. I couldn't leave it alone until I finished it.
