There once was a killer who knew the night, its secrets and rhythms. How to hide within its shadows. When to hunt. He roamed from town to town, city to city, choosing his prey for their beauty and innocence. His cruelties were infinite, his humanity long since forfeit. But still... he had not yet discovered how to make his special mark among monsters, how to come fully alive as Death. This is the story of how he learned those things, and of what we might do to ensure that he does not visit us.

What did you like best about Darkness Under the Sun? What did you like least?

I loved the fact that Howie had enough brains to figure out what was going on early in the game.

I hated that I spent my credit on a book that was so short. As Howie got older, it got a little lost.

Would you recommend Darkness Under the Sun to your friends? Why or why not?

Probably not, I was a little disappointed with it.

    Which scene was your favorite?

Didn't really have one this time around

Did Darkness Under the Sun inspire you to do anything?

Not really, just don't let your kids talk to strangers.

    Any additional comments?

Dean could have done a little better on this one.

A handful of people. From different backgrounds, living in different towns and cities across America, they had nothing in common - except fear. Deep in the heart of a sprawling desert, a dark memory called out to them, drawing them to the Tranquility Motel - where the terrifying truth was waiting.

This book was definitely of a different sort. In the beginning it really didn't seem to make any sense the way it jumped from person to person with out no introduction, I think each part should have had a little more explanation. I kept having to go back because I wasn't sure who they were talking about.

More towards the end I finally started getting it when they were starting to group up it started to make a little more sense.

Definitely a re-read now that you have caught on to how it is written.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I loved this book! I would recommend anyone read it that is into a little Sci-Fi. Loved the way it kept you going back for more.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Clayton and Jordan were my favorites, Clayton was the thinker and Jordan was the Brain.

What about Campbell Scott’s performance did you like?

I loved listening to Campbell read, his voice matched the main character to a T

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

    At Least we Did Something!

    Any additional comments?

Definitely a must read! Makes you think twice about your cell phone. But with the way the ending was I hope there will be a part 2.

This book started out great! However, the file I down loaded was corrupted!!! I didn't get all the part 1 and part 2 wouldn't load onto my MP3 Player at all!! It just sits in my purcased pile of downloads, can't redownload it, and can't load it to my player and finish it. Part 1 got so far and started making this horrible noise, so didn't get to finish it either. Can we say Refund? But no one has offered me that option as of yet!
