I found "Wheat Belly: Lose the Wheat, Lose the Weigh" very educative.. I felt being equipped with a new armamentarium to fight vague complaints and maintain health. The theory provided was supported by reasonable reasoning and needed clinical and scientific evidence. The clinical cases and the scientific discussion were truly interesting and enjoyable. I found the logic provided to have sufficient strength to convince me of trying the provided approach of avoiding (or at least significantly reducing) wheat in myself or others whenever resistant excess weight or metabolic syndrome is faced or unexplained vague persistent symptoms are met.
I believe that this audio would be helpful for those seeking better health for themselves, relative/ friends or their patients.. I should say that I've just finished listening to this audiobook and can not provide a personal clinical experience; though I adopted the approach to reduce carbohydrate some years ago with partial adherence and results.

I enjoyed very much listening to "over-diagnosed".. I consolidated a lot of my past medical knowledge and learnt much more of new knowledge and practice points.. Regardless, one would agree fully or partly with the authors' principles, I urge, with no hesitation , every physician to read 'or listen; to this 'audio' book.

I had a good review for the subject of aging through my listening to "Growing Young".. I have an earlier personal positive experience regarding the chapter on diet.. I can say: it is mostly true! Of course I do support the recommendations on taking vitamin D3 supplements, fish oil and tumeric .. I would, however, seek further evidences before trying on the rest of the the rest of the recommendations (though appealing!) despite their strong and consistent scientific discussions that were provided in this book..

I do recommend the book or its audio version for those caring for their health from the inevitable aging!

It was most interesting to listen to this audiobook.. It has gathered science and stimulating stories.. in a language that can be understood by everybody, regardless of their background, though it may not be that easy for those with non-medical background despite the excellent / admirable simplification exercised by the author in this audiobook.
I have found the stories very educational and enjoyable even when it uses simple non-medical language..
I have no hesitation to advise all physicians to listen and benefit from this audiobook stories and ideas..

It was nice hearing the final success of Sammy's mother! The story is not an unusual one when conventional medicine and thinking confronting complementary medicine approaches and thinking.. I do sympathize with most of the raised points.. The unknown In medicine, is still huge.. Physicians need to be humble, humane, caring and open minded.. Clinical judgement, at times, need to consider giving patients benefit of doubt when no harm is expected.. but with maintained logic and scientific thinking.. I felt repeatedly that a placebo effect and mother/physicians reassuring approaches in the story of Sammy were the main effectors.. How can increasing augmentin dose in the absence of active infection has an immediate positive effect on OCD when the proposed mechanism of reducing antistrep. antibodies would take long periods! unless augmentin has a direct anti OCD effect !!
I think the story has helped consolidating several principles and worth reading/ hearing..

I had a good time listening to Grand design.. Many facts were simplified to general listeners.. I do recommending it but it has given inappropriately non-scientific approaches unrealistic basis.. Just as long as they would help in finding an escape from believing in The creator.. I wandered at the end how present century thinkers are not different from the old ones.. The old ones, believing that the earth is carried over the horns of a cow, have managed to find an explanation for every earthly phenomenon as winds, earth quick..etc

I do congratulate Dr Majid for this successful project.. He managed to produce an excellent, wealthy, scientific coverage for the subject.. comprehensible for both medical and non-medical personnel. It is additionally supported by a wealth of clinical cases that are very valuable.. The presentation is scientific and neutral avoiding unrealistic reassurance and listener deception.

Completely disapointed! I thought I would listen to scientific discussions of the 'hidden/secret' hazards of secret food additives and ingredients but to find different discussion.. I can not comment further as I did not listen to more than 15-20 min.. My above rating (the median chosen; so to have least effect on overall ratings) was made just to allow me to access writting these comments..
