"not funny"
not even remotely funny. waste of money.
"well written, well read"
a very funny, very personal, and very well written story. as an added bonus, it is read by the author.
"bubble wrap"
this book reminds me of bubble wrap. lots of air, little substance.
the facts are not too new for you if you have been reading anything beyond the sports pages and there are some rather silly claims, for example the author seems to think that the internet was instrumental in bringing down the berlin wall because it gave east germans access to information from the west ... which is stretching it a bit if you consider the east german information technology in the late 80s and the fact that they had access to west german television for decades...!
the narrator overdoes his effort to present the information as new and exciting, it comes out like a children's book of miracles.
