Had to immediately start this second book with such a cliffhanger from the Hunger Games. Great book, once again.

While the powerlessness of the laboring class is a recurring theme in Steinbeck’s work of the late 1930s, he narrowed his focus when composing Of Mice and Men (1937), creating an intimate portrait of two men facing a world marked by petty tyranny, misunderstanding, jealousy, and callousness. But though the scope is narrow, the theme is universal: a friendship and shared dream that make an individual’s existence meaningful.

Of course, it is a classic. I listened with my 11 and 12 year old in the car to and from work and they loved it. The narrator was great.

Good clean fun for the entire family, The New Dibble Show is Colonial Radio Theatre's hilarious weekly comedy series starring Dibble (that 3'3" 15 Watt Star of the Air!) and a zany cast of characters in the small New England town of Mayham. You'll laugh out loud to their misadventures. The show is loaded with a wonderful cast, great sound effects, and light hearted stories. Whether you are 6 or 96, you will find Dibble and his friends to be a wonderfully pleasant diversion.

This was a really cute slapstick radio show. Reminded of me of shows I listened to when I was a child. My ten year old daughter enjoyed it.

Good story line but the narrator does a very poor job with accents. The Scottish accents sound Jamaican half of the time. The French accent becomes Hispanic. It was very annoying. Occasionally the pattern of speech seemed deliberate and disjointed which was also distracting.

Subattraction Weight Loss: Many people have read books such as The Secret or the classic Think And Grow Rich and set about trying the Law Of Attraction for themselves. The Law Of Attraction states whatever you give your attention to, is what you attract into your life. Readers are advised to think more about what they want in life in order to bring those things closer using an automatic law of the universe. Unfortunately.

Could you survive on your own, in the wild, with everyone out to make sure you don't live to see the morning? In the ruins of a place once known as North America lies the nation of Panem, a shining Capitol surrounded by 12 outlying districts. The Capitol is harsh and cruel and keeps the districts in line by forcing them all to send one boy and one girl between the ages of 12 and 18 to participate in the annual Hunger Games, a fight to the death on live TV.

The final book of the three was crushing, thought provoking, and had you on the edge of your seat. I read a prior review of this third book that stated the end was "disappointing" and I was waiting for the disappointing or inappropriate ending that never came. It had me reeling for days after the book ended.
