Yes because it was interesting, return of some ol' favorite characters and some interesting new ones.
I was moved to anger and disbelief with Melanie's stupidity and wimpiness.
I loved the pace with which Lou Diamond Phillips read. I hope they continue to work with him.
I have no idea who would enjoy this book. It goes around in predicable and boring circles. I did not find the characters interesting or entertaining. A lot of repetition, adjectives, worthless dialogue, no action or intrigue.
No, just the author ...under any name.
The narrator is superb in this book just like in all his others.
Only when it ended.
I had a very difficult time listening to Mr O'Reilly, I kept hearing "pinhead or patriot". Where I normally enjoy a quick pace, he seemed to be running all the words together. I borrowed the book and enjoyed reading it much better.
No. But I will stick with professional readers.
I vote for a professional reader.
Bill Bryson really DID give a short history of nearly everthing . It was interesting, not too complicated and had many light-hearted moments.
I enjoyed the stories about the scientists, their personalities, quirks and ideas.
No but he was just marvelous. Loved his inflections, speed and interpretations.
Earth, You've Come A long Way Baby.
Everything. The dialogue was sophmoric and characters extremely boring. The plot was very predictable. Very boring.
I wish the bomb had taken care of that.
Do not read this book.
The book, yes. The audio book, NO!
All the Clancy books.
The performer read so slowly, it was difficult to stay awake.
The audio book should be 1/3 shorter time wise. Listening to it was painful.
