They are told by people who have answered an ad headlined "Writers' Retreat: Abandon Your Life for Three Months", and who are led to believe that here they will leave behind all the distractions of "real life" that are keeping them from creating the masterpiece that is in them.

    A warning should be posted with the book listing about the explicit, graphic violence and sex. Some people, including me, are not familiar with this author. The book is well written, but I was truly shocked and disgusted. I am halfway through, and I am torn between not wanting to hear anymore depravity and wanting to find out how it end and just how bad it gets before it is over.
