A very thought driven story, with the main character figuring out who she is from who she was. Kind a great way to come up with a clean slate with some extra assistance along the way.

Kevin Hearne and Luke Daniels are a power house combo of writer and story teller. Luke Daniels embraces the characters which Kevin Hearne writes so well. The Iron Druid Chronicles; Atticus, Oberon and more!

The author mixes mythology with religion with modern day atmosphere. The narrator brings all the characters to life, especially Oberon! I think this series is fantastic and this was just the first book!

Yes, that is a little play on the story, my headline. I do feel compelled to listen to the next two in the series, which will have to wait as, I plan on getting one of the books a month. What I find interesting is all the uproar which is happening around the story, as usual people tend to focus on specific aspects of a certain something and not the whole. I think it was well written, with one exception...the author continually used "hot" to describe attractiveness of the male main character. The author used so many other fabulously diverse words, that "Hot" kind of got boring. That would be my only negative to the story.

I bought the hardback book and devoured it in days...As I was reading it I kept thinking, this book would probably be in audio, since much of the story takes place in England and France. So, when it appeared in the Audible library and I had credits again I had to get it and I think I listened to it withing a weeks time. Additionally there is a lot of Latin and other languages which as a person who doesn't speak another language the pronunciation is so much more enjoyable to hear than to guess at. I love how the author ties in history, science, myth, prejudice and more.The author put a great amount of detail in the story and I look forward to a continuation of this story.
