While the "experts" want us to believe that all is well (or will be soon), nothing could be further from the truth. The worldwide financial crisis of 2008 and 2009 was just a sneak preview of what is to come. But for those who act quickly and correctly, there is still time to protect yourself, your family, and your business in the next global money meltdown.

David M. Weprin says: "Interesting, convincing, and well narrated advert."

What made the experience of listening to Aftershock the most enjoyable?

I don't doubt the authors research or predicitons. According to the authors we're in for a really rough ride and nothing can really be done about it. How sad, what a great country we once were. Happy Independence Day!

I just thank God that America, the world for that matter, are in His hands and not really predictable at all. Peace out!

When a fragile peace breaks down and promptly devolves into a rapidly escalating shooting war between Pakistan and India, the U.S. must intervene. With only hours remaining before the conflict reaches a deadly point of no return, the White House must find a way to shut it down immediately or risk the likelihood of a new global war. A radical cleric has become the democratically elected president of Pakistan and uses a brutal incident in the Kashmir region as an opportunity to ignite war with India. The highly lethal conventional war spins out of control when Pakistan initiates a nuclear attack.

Dexter Morgan is not your average serial killer. He enjoys his day job as a blood spatter analyst for the Miami Police Department... but he lives for his nighttime hobby of hunting other killers. Dexter is therefore not pleased to discover that someone is shadowing him, observing him, and copying his methods. Dexter is not one to tolerate displeasure... in fact, he has a knack for extricating himself from trouble in his own pleasurable way.

Lisbeth Salander—the heart of Larsson’s two previous novels—lies in critical condition, a bullet wound to her head, in the intensive care unit of a Swedish city hospital. She’s fighting for her life in more ways than one: if and when she recovers, she’ll be taken back to Stockholm to stand trial for three murders. With the help of her friend, journalist Mikael Blomkvist, she will not only have to prove her innocence, but also identify and denounce those in authority.

What did you love best about The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest?

The three books Larsson wrote and all wonderful. I loved all three and have heard all three twice. I'm sorry he's not alive to write more of these interesting and satisfying books.

Why we think it’s a great listen: How do you one-up a book that’s already a global literary phenomenon? Hire Simon Vance to (flawlessly) interpret the loves, lives, and murders of Sweden’s cold and secret-filled world. A spellbinding amalgam of murder mystery, family saga, love story, and financial intrigue. It's about the disappearance 40 years ago of Harriet Vanger, a young scion of one of the wealthiest families in Sweden.

I enjoyed the book, I bought the other two as well. I read some of the reviews and I guess if people aren't looking for violence and mayhem they should read poetry not mystery. Go figure. .
