The story is very relevant to anyone that has a small business or who is about to start one. This book is full of great business insights that you can apply immediately to your own business.

My favourite part was the part where he explained the importance of high gross margins. I immediately made some changes to my own business after hearing that part.

Well spoken, with just the right amount of emotion.

It got me hooked. I literally drove around in my car for hours after work just listening.

I thought this was a fantastic audio book. I personally really enjoyed it because I am in the computer graphics industry. But I do think this would make a great listen for everyone who is even remotely interested in computer graphics or computer science.

Yeah I sure would. I think its a must read for anyone in the process or that is planning to launch a start up. Not all of it will be relevant to your business but I'd be very surprised if anyone didn't find something in here that is directly helpful.

What I liked best was how the stories were real life examples. The author wasn't trying to justify selling you some silly 10-step approach or similar. This book is based on real examples from real businesses.

No not me. There was too much information to digest in one sitting.

This book was certainly not for me. Its just another one of those "fluff" books where the author tries to fool you into thinking that they have the simple answer to all the complicated problems in your professional and personal life. What this book repeats over and over again is that all you need to succeed is to be positive and never give up. How do you get there according to the book? -By deluding yourself with repeated monologues of course.

Although confidence is an important part of the mindset of a successful person, its far from the whole package. And in some cases its pure madness to just be positive and keep on pushing when you are clearly on the wrong track.

Absolutely. I got this book from the "business" section. This is not business, this is cheap pop psychology and in my opinion does more harm than good. In the future I'll be sure to screen the books I choose a bit more carefully.

I would have made it into one chapter perhaps of a motivational book for people with very low self esteem.

Although feeling empowered for a short period of time, most people reading this book will not benefit at all from it. Eventually that initial empowerment will fade and they move on to the next "scam", probably from Tony Robbins or some equally naked emperor. In my personal experience, the people I know that listen to and believe this rubbish are "self help" junkies and they are without exception failures in life in every single way.

They are often the same kind of people who get caught in Amway style pyramid scams or new age healing courses.

There was nothing new to learn. Same as Think and grow Rich but in a simplified format. The whole book could have been written in one paragraph rather than several hours of just repeating the same thing over and over.

Not sure if this is a business book. Comes across more as a self help book for seriously disadvantaged individuals. Like Tim Robbins for kids.
