  • Sh-t My Dad Says

    • UNABRIDGED (3 hrs and 9 mins)
    • By Justin Halpern
    • Narrated By Sean Schemmel
    • Whispersync for Voice-ready

After being dumped by his longtime girlfriend, 28-year-old Justin Halpern found himself living at home with his 73-year-old dad. Sam Halpern, who is “like Socrates, but angrier, and with worse hair,” has never minced words, and when Justin moved back home, he began to record all the ridiculous things his dad said to him.

Michael says: "Really Funny! Should Be Up for an Audie Award"
    "Worst book ever!"

I allowed myself to become swayed by the good reviews but in the end it was a waisted credit. Their was way too much cursing and foul language to find any of the saying and stories clever. This book was simply not worth the time or download.

  • Chasing Destiny

    • UNABRIDGED (13 hrs and 39 mins)
    • By Eric Jerome Dickey
    • Narrated By Kimberly JaJuan
    • Whispersync for Voice-ready

Billie (aka "Ducati") is known as much for her extraordinary beauty as for the sexy yellow Ducati motorcycle she rides through the mean streets of Los Angeles. Tough, talented, and self-assured, Billie's used to doing things her way - but that was before love threw an oil slick in the road and spun her life into chaos.

Bonita says: "A VERY ANIMATED LISTEN!!!!"
    "Foul Language"

I was disgusted by the language every 5 min that was used in this book. I was referred to this book by a professional and now it is causeing me to think twice about the character of the author and the person that referred this piece of garbage. Waste of a credit for all those who value great literature...!!!!!

  • NIrV The Little Kids' Adventure Audio Bible: Old Testament, Volume 1

    • UNABRIDGED (5 hrs and 21 mins)
    • By NIrV Little Kids' Adventure Bible
    • Narrated By Full Cast

Now daily Bible time for children is even easier with this fully dramatized audio version of the NIrV Little Kids' Adventure Bible. Read by kids, for kids, it's the perfect introduction to the Bible for even the littlest Bible explorer!

    Tracy says: "Cannot navigate"
    "I love these books!"

Our whole family loves these. We have the Old and New Testaments and we couldn't be happier with what we hear. The extras make it more than just a audio representation of the word of God. It becomes a reference for how to live according to God's law with exercises for the children and life lessons that their young minds may find hard to grasp from simply being read the bible.

  • Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus: The Classic Guide to Understanding the Opposite Sex

    • ABRIDGED (1 hr and 33 mins)
    • By John Gray
    • Narrated By John Gray

Once upon a time Martians and Venusians met, fell in love, and had happy relationships together because they respected and accepted their differences. Then they came to Earth and amnesia set in: They forgot they were from different planets.

Jill says: "Boring - I have another recommendation for you"
    "Didn't enjoy it..."

It was a ridiculous concept. I thought it would be more sensible and better put than it actually was. I am disappointed and I want my credit back.

  • The Help

    • UNABRIDGED (18 hrs and 19 mins)
    • By Kathryn Stockett
    • Narrated By Jenna Lamia, Bahni Turpin, Octavia Spencer, and others
    • Whispersync for Voice-ready

Why we think it’s a great listen: The most celebrated performance in all of Audible’s history, The Help has nearly 2,000 5-star reviews from your fellow listeners. We hear the print book’s not bad, either. In pitch-perfect voices, Kathryn Stockett creates three extraordinary women whose determination to start a movement of their own forever changes a town, and the way women - mothers, daughters, caregivers, friends - view one another.

Jan says: "What a great surprise!"
    "I loved it!"

This is such a great book and an even better audio. The dialog are so well acted out that I can easily picture the scenes. It is hard to stop listening.

Do yourself a favor, put this book in your mp3 player and take it to the gym with you. You could be doing a "Last Chance Workout" with this book on and not feel a thing.

Honestly I only listen to it at the gym and I can't wait to go back. I don't know what book will top this when I am done. Happy listening!
