Well written and researched. Odd how someone could kill for a living and actually have true feelings and unquestionable ethics.
I am guessing most readers aren't ex Marines or locker room jocks. Non stop rough language doesn't improve the story, at least for me.
Not really. Although well researched and a creative spin of space travel and exploration, it wasn't my type of read.
Not for me
I almost returned the book after the first couple chapters but decided to stick it out. It's just not the kind of book I enjoy. I found myself listening to chapters while not hearing them and not caring.
Less faulty dialog. The childish back and forth wording during arguments between several lead characters was unrealistic
The back ground story was good.
He did well with what he had to work with.
Hesitation about trying another from the same Author. Most Baldacci's I have listened to or read have been solid. I had to look to see if it was a possibly ghost writer.
They were fine
Waste of time
I bought this based on a couple good reviews by others. I like books of most styles but could never get into this story in any way. My rule is to stay at least 5 chapters just in case my interest picks up. I have only booted a book once after 5 in the last couple years and I listen to two books a month on average when I travel for work. I made it all the way through this book and wish I hadn't.
