Jim Frangione really made this series for me. I had never read any of J R Wards books but decided to give it a try. I was so thoroughly entertained. I hope Jim will continue to narrate any of the Brother Hood series. The language was hilarious, the build up sensuous and the series intriguing.

Why we think it’s a great listen: The most celebrated performance in all of Audible’s history, The Help has nearly 2,000 5-star reviews from your fellow listeners. We hear the print book’s not bad, either. In pitch-perfect voices, Kathryn Stockett creates three extraordinary women whose determination to start a movement of their own forever changes a town, and the way women - mothers, daughters, caregivers, friends - view one another.

I don't tend to go for best sellers. In this case I waited way too long. It took me days to finish because I didn't want it to end. The raw honesty and great narration combine for an awesome listen.

I didn't grow up in America and tend to forget the history from the not so distant past. This book serves to remind us about the foundation on which we now stand.

I can't recommend this book enough. Is a glimpse into the south in the early 60"s and allows you to truly live out the lives of these maids and their employers. There is so much of life you don't think about because you haven't lived it. This book brings you right there up to the window pane.

At times I was the crazy lady laughing out loud while out walking. Other times wiping away tears, Kathryn Stockett this is the book you were put on earth to write. Fortunately enough the perfect narrators were also here at the right time.

This will forever be one of my favorites. I can't thank you enough.
