Would you consider the audio edition of Jewels of the Sun to be better than the print version?

I listened to these years ago on DVD. Just added them to my ipod and looking forward to listening again. Wonderful series. HC.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

90 percent of his book is very good, but the ending is very very disapointing.
The writer should never have ended this book this way. I know she want us to buy
other books, but I have to really think this one over. Oh by the way Willa Blair I own
over 300 books, so I think I can make these statements. I hope you don't do this
to every book you write. HC.

    None

What three words best describe Derek Perkins’s performance?

    Great narrator.

Did Highland Healer inspire you to do anything?

    No

The righteous Fae of the Seelie Court cherish an ancient quarrel with their Dark counterparts: a curse born of anger and deceit. The Unseelie Court will perish unless one of its princes can win a woman's love - honestly, without coercion. And love her wholly in return.

    Overall

Well she tried, but just could not pull it off. Story starts, but I figure I have to wait to find out what is going on. She never really explains what is really happening. Just because you put a few sexual scenes in place, you still have to keep your story line going. Sorry but I was really disapointed.

At 14, Nick Gautier thinks he knows everything about the world around him. Streetwise, tough and savvy, his quick sarcasm is the stuff of legends - until the night when his best friends try to kill him. Saved by a mysterious warrior who has more fighting skills than Chuck Norris, Nick is sucked into the realm of the Dark-Hunters: immortal vampire slayers who risk everything to save humanity.

Jeanie Jenkins says: "Fantastic Prequel/Sequel to the Dark Hunter Series"
    "Nickie the helper"
    Overall

The main books are fine, but this one is more for the teens then grown ups. It has zombies and werewolfves and really doesn't speak to what
Nick is learning about the Hunter.
