A writer..in my opinion...should NEVER narrate their own book. They OVER due the reading. Their emotions over their writing and the story are too high and it over exaggerates the way they narrate.
David Rosenfelt cannot go wrong with this character and I adore the narrator and characters.
I love all Eve Dallas books and have listened to them in order more then once. How did I miss this one? Don't even have to finish it and know I will love it.
I usually love Lisa Jackson but this book was AWFUL and boring. Maybe it was the other authors added.
NEVER thought I would dislike a James Patterson book even with other authors but he needs to take his name off books like this. I am returning it. The narrator is good but the story is beyond boring and stupid.
I am sad. I always llook forward to Rhyme books. And the voice that did Emilia was terrible. She is too strong a woman for that whimpy voice.
I enjoyed this very much and I am picky about my sci-fi...futuristic stories. I was happier this summed up the first one and am looking forward to the 3rd.
This was a great book and I am looking forward to more in the series.
NO ONE can tell a story like Jodi Picoult. The narration is unbelievable. Perfectly fits the image she wants to portray I imagine. I do not know how a person can read when the narrators bring a story to life. I was a little nervous about this one...not being a fan of history or period pieces but as I said....Jodi just brings it to life.
I could not get passed the bad narrating to listen to the book. Deleted it.
I could not follow this book. Not sure if it was the naration or the way it was written but it seemed very confusing so I gave up. Pity since I adore Scott Brick and have listened to many in this series.
