"Grace is the breath of God - an invisible essence beyond intellect that moves swiftly amongst us," teaches Caroline Myss. Is it possible to become a living conduit of this powerful force? "Not only is it possible," suggests this best-selling author, "but grace is immediately accessible to you and everyone around you - through humility, devotion, and the courage to follow divine guidance." With Channeling Grace you are invited to ascend to what Myss calls the "altitude of the mystics".

I have admired Caroline Myss for such a long time, but her admonishing tone is not helpful...

When Assistant District Attorney Alex Cooper is summoned to Tina Barr's apartment on Manhattan's Upper East Side, she finds a neighbor convinced that the young woman was assaulted. But the terrified victim, a conservator of rare books and maps, refuses to cooperate with investigators. Then another woman is found murdered in that same apartment with an extremely valuable book, believed to have been stolen.

    Overall

I love Linda Fairstein's novels but have been unable to listen to Rosenblat. I don't believe she has captured the returning charecters and that makes it very unpleasant. Anyone new to Alex Cooper and Mike Chapman may love her interpretations, but I have read every previous book the old fashioned way and this reader isn't doing it for me.
